what medication do you stock up on?

Always be prepared:) take plenty of immodium just in case of tummy upsets and rehydration powders, the heat can soon make you feel uneasy if you don't drink enough fluids. Favourite brand pain relief and soluble aspirin can really get to work quick if you get muscle cramps. Liquid paracetamol for DS and don't forget the blister plasters, even well broken in shoes can sometimes catch you out. Oh and of course Aloe Vera aftersun it costs a fortune in the water parks, Solarcaine is quite good it has Lidocaine in the ingredients:thumbsup2

I think I must be really sad cos I have to have a trip to Walgreens or CVS to stock up on my bits.

Mainly their generic brand of Advil (Ibuprofen), you can get some really good 'fun' patterned or coloured plasters, normally cough mixtures (can't remember the name) and my poor DH ALWAYS stocks up on earplugs (oh come on, everyone snores:laughing: ).

I just like to have a wander around Walgreens - it seems to stock so many different things, even food, beer, waters, sweeties, small amount of clothing and touristy souvenir type things, greetings cards, postcards . . . . wish I was there now:rolleyes1

Me too! LOL!

I've never really thought about it tbh, however now you've all mentioned it I shall have a wander see what I can purchase in bulk:rotfl2: any excuse to spend.....However I do remember DP contracting some flu bug on our holiday and we went to Walmart for something like Lemsip! we was there ages trying to find something that looked well for colds lol:rotfl: he got some US flu capsules and was fine and dandy in a jiffy!:thumbsup2

If you have small kids there is this fantastic barrier gel that you an use on Nappy Rash, much better than the Sudo Crem that we have here - we bought lots of that!
Tylenol, cough mixture, vitamins too.

It's never really occured to me to bulk buy medicines from the US - I find most generic pain medication very cheap in UK supermarkets. In fact painkillers available here are not available in the US without prescription - the ones with codiene in for example.

I agree.

I buy so much Tylenol that I think my suitcase must rattle on the way home :lmao:
