DH makes this beef stew that tastes like dishwater. :crazy2: He makes it about once every 2 months. We have told him for years that we wont eat it but he seems to "forget" and get mad every time he brings up making it. He cant make enough just for him, makes this monster pot that I end up throwing 90% of it away.

Nothing. DH doesn't cook at all! He has actually never even attempted to try :(

Split pea soup. Everyone loves it - except for me! I just can't eat it.

No spouse to cook for me, but I did asked DBF why he never cooks for me (he only takes me out to dinner or I cook) and that it would be nice if he did cook for me once. He said he would and I can have my choice of what he cooks best even. My choices were Kraft or Velveeta Mac N Cheese. Aint I a lucky girl? I would take dishwater stew anyday.

HA! you wouldnt want this stew. even DD says it gives her "the runs"

All DH can make and he makes it too much is creamette noodles with hot dogs and then he really piles on the parmesian cheese. Not bad, just very tired of it. If he beats me to the kitchen I usually make myself a sandwich. :)

DH doesn't really cook that much. If he does make something it'll be something simple like pancakes or something.
He likes to get creative with those though. At Thanksgiving he made me a pancake in the shape of a turkey and used various candies and sprinkles for the claws, eyes, beak, etc. It was the sweetest thing! I even took a picture of it. :rotfl:

Dh is a former chef, so no complaints! :flower:

Tuna noodle casserole :crazy2: I can't even be in the house when he makes it. He grew up eating this slop (that explains a lot). Usually DH is a great cook, does wonders with a grill, but I just can't stand this dish.

My mother used to make that when I was growing up. She hated to cook but tuna casserole was her "specialty". I still cringe at the thought of having to eat it! :crazy2:

Actually Dh does all of the cooking in our house because I am a pathetic cook (though I make a mean baked mac and cheese dish from a "Good Eats" recipe.). He's a terrific cook. It's his mother who gives me the heebies. She lived with us for about a year and she cooked for us every night (bless her). She's diabetic and would cookw ith little to no salt....or pepper...or any flavoring of any kind. All the meat was so dried out it was like eating jerky. Any gravy tasted like wet flour. Now we tend to go out to dinner with his mom whenever possible. Thank GOD Dh didn't pick up his culinary skills from her!

She makes this one dish she calls "The Mess", which is macaroni noodles with chopped beef, baked beans and sliced up hot dogs all mixed in together. Sounds yummy huh?
