What mansion is this?

I saw this picture on another thread (beautiful picture! to whomever took it) and I would love to know which mansion this is, as we are going in May. It's absolutely breath taking.



(sorry I can't get my photobucket to work here at work so I'll put up the picture while I'm home on my break.)

It's a mansion that has a walkway that's covered in roses.

That's Magnolia Terrace- we stayed just to the left of the walkway ( just got back the other night).
It's a great location, just over the bridge from the big pool, also right next to a quiet pool and laundry facilities. Bus stop is right out back, too.

BEST mansion to stay at, like pp said, right next to a bust stop and quiet pool!

Parterre Place is awesome too!!!! We stayed there in January and it was wonderful. We were right over the bridge from the main building and close to the bus stop up front.

Is it difficult to be able to get a request granted to stay at Magnolia Terrace?

We stayed in Magnolia Terrace and I don't remember it looking like this. I'm not doubting you at all, but I guess we never paid much attention. We weren't crazy about the resort in general so we never stopped to smell the roses, as they say. The picture does make it look beautiful though.

We requested it when we checked in, and after fighting with the CM about whether it was a real building or not ( ) we got it without a problem. She just didn't know that it existed.. really odd..

Does anyone else have pics of this mansion or any of the others for that matter? My brother is pushing for me to request the mansions ( i love AB section ), so maybe your pics can help persuade me! I do think that pic above with the rose walkway looks nice! My worry is that this rose walkway is not the quickest walk to most places. Disney likes to add these little out of the way spots that you won't see when your rushing to breakfast or the parks. You just take the quickest path to the food court, not the long route, if you know what I mean?

Acadian House

The requests for staying in any building is just a request, if they can accomodate you I am sure they will.

The entire mansions section is beautiful, the themeing is wonderful. The front of the mansions face the river, it is very easy to just walk out the front of the buildings to the walkway to get to the bridge that leads to the main building with the food court etc. But, it is really nice to just stroll around the area and just take in the ambiance.

That's funny, cuz when I called on friday to pay off the rest of my hotel ressie, I asked to make sure that all my requests were still on there. It had Magnolia Bend, and I said, "No, that's supposed to be Magnolia Terrace." She had no idea that all the mansions had different names. So she changed it for me and added, "You learn something new everyday!"

So I guess it pays to double check and ask!
