What is the most important part of your trip?

Do you say...

I don't care how busy the parks are as long as my hotel is wonderful.

I don't care that my resort doesn't have a sit-down restaurant as long as the parks aren't packed.

etc...

What makes a great vacation for you?

Mine would probably be that we all have a good time while we are in the parks. That would take them not being busy and no rain.

As long as we are all together and having a good time! I expect crowds, we are in WDW. My theory on rain is, "it is only dangerous to witches and sugar."
:rotfl2:

I just enjoy being in WDW. I don't care about the crowds, that's why I'm there from morning until night with maybe a break midday when it's really hot out.

AND it is dangerous to Spectromagic parades!!!!! We had one highly anticpated Spectro cancelled because of a storm that started blowing in about 8:15 one night! Of all the luck! :sad2:

We're happt at WDW as long as everyone is healthy throughout the trip, we get to see Spectro and Tink fly, and we get to spend some magical moments on Main Street!

Seeing the joy in my family's face makes my trip. Also seeing a character that we've never seen before. :sunny:

No rain, a ressie at a great restaurant, pool time and some time in the parks with great friends. :flower:

The perfect WDW day:

8:00-11:00 at the parks (rain ok :umbrella: it keeps the crowds down)
11:00-12:00 lunch (counter, sit down or in the villa)
12:00-4/5:00 at the pool (much :sunny: and heat preferred)
6:00 PS's at a nice restaurant
7:00 back to the parks or chill on the balcony

The most important part of my trip is not having my son & daughter nit pic with each other - and they're teens.

All I ask is that they be civil to one another. :confused3

Actually I enjoy the resort experience more than the park experience. I always seem to remember the resorts but I can't remember the park details from one year to the next.

What makes my trip is seeing FOTLK. I don't know why... but my trip is not complete until I see this amazing production. Of course, the smells and sounds as I enter my resort and of course the first time I pass through the entrance stalls on the first day of my vacation, and my Pal Mickey giggles with a Welcome to the park comment.

Crowds don't bother me, but the heat sure does! But I still return every June and December! :earboy2:

Jellyrolls, a turkey leg, Illuminations and nice weather, and seeing Donald more than once and it's a good trip. :)

Just being with DH experiencing the warm weather (after a long winter) and seeing him get excited about the things we're going to see. I love Illuminations, Wishes and walking through the parks at night. We also look forward to some of the meals and trying something different on each trip. Last trip we did some resort hopping. This year we'll take the monorail and see the ones we missed. :flower:

What makes my trip is great weather (read no rain except over night!), having something, one little unexpected special moment, happen; and getting lots of return smiles to my smiles!!

Pictures of the "kids" (this includes my husband and myself) eating Mickey ice cream bars, Illuminations, being the top family scorer in our usual contest at Buzz Lightyear, taking tons of pictures to bring home to remember the trip, great food, time together as a family away from "everyday" life. Light crowds, trying something we've never done or rarely done before, having a friend join us for all or part of the trip, the expression on DS and DD's faces when they try something new. Just plain having fun! ::MinnieMo

Happy children, the Boardwalk at night, and short lines. I can even handle a little rain, just not a hurricane (been there, done that)!!!

What makes my trip is being able to do or ride what I want, seeing my kids have fun (if they are with us), and having enough money so money is not an issue. Just once, I would love to go into the gift shops and get anything that I truly want no matter what the price. (I hate being poor with a love for Disney that most people can't understand.) ::MickeyMo :cool1: One other thing, I HAVE TO DO FANTASMIC!! I love that show.

It doesn't take much. That first glimpse of the Castle makes a trip for me. I just love walking down Main Street looking at the Castle.

FOTLK is also another big one for me. It's the thing I'm most excited about doing again...IN JUST 13 MORE DAYS!!!!!! :cool1:

If the trip is REALLY made it will have light crowds. I love it when you can just walk along without having to wait for all the people in front of you to go.
I swear I don't think I'd go during a peak or holiday time if it were FREE!

That first day at the park, while waiting to get through the turnstiles, my Mom always gets so excited and she hugs me and says "I'm so glad we came"! Seeing her that happy and that relaxed always makes my trip! :cloud9:

as long as we Get There!
and dont have plans changed at the last minute

 What makes my trip is having our 2 DS's remind us of something funny or great that happened once the trip is over. Then I feel as though we have really made memories that they'll look back on fondly someday. They're 15 and 17, and also tend to fight quite a bit, although lately, they seem to be making something of an effort to get along... :wizard:
