Hmm...we're the home of toasted ravioli, gooey butter cake, and pork steaks, and the ice cream cone, peanut butter, and 7-Up were all invented here.
And apart from being the newly-annointed Most Dangerous City in America

, I really love this place. I grew up in a heavily sports-oriented family (my 1st baseball game was an A's game when I was 6 months old and it was Dad's day to babysit

), and I love the way the people around here genuinely rally around our teams, like how every Opening Day of the baseball season is practically a holiday, the streets around Busch filled with red-clad people hours before gametime (ditto with all of the recent playoff games, and don't even get me started on the half-million people who turned out for the victory parade the Sunday after the Cards won the World Series).
I also love that the Irish branch of my family immigrated to St. Louis over 150 years ago, although they lived in an area that was actually mentioned in a guidebook at the time as having residents whose chief amusements included punching out each other's eyes.
