What Makes You Think Of Disneyworld?

What in your everyday life reminds you of being at disneyworld ie: smells,sights,sounds,places I think this has been posted before but I would like to start a new list ! I"ll go first. The taped music at walmart it sounds just like the music they play in futureworld at epcot! The smell of the food court at the local mall! And every time I see a ad for GE all I can think about is Illuminations! " IN JUST 5 MINUTES EPCOT AND GE WILL PRESENT TONIGHTS SHOWING OF ILLUMINATIONS AT GE WE BRING GOOD THINGS TO LIFE" or something like that.

Two things mainly-the smell of Tangerine Spice from Bath and Body Works and eating chicken caesar salad pitas at Wendy's! One time we were there and I loudly said "This reminds me of the chicken caesar salad at Cinderella's Castle at WDW!" Don't think the people around me knew I meant that as a compliment!

I bought a can of air freshener to take on our trip a couple of years ago. I'd never gotten this scent before. Now everytime I smell it, I think of that trip.

Amaretto makes me think of WDW. On my first trip with Chris, we got a bottle and would make amaretto sours in the evenings...

I read about it on these boards and tried it for the first time on our trip in 9/01. I used it every day during that trip, and then I didnt use it at home for quite a while. One day I took it out to do a quick shirt for DS and I felt like I was right back on that trip(which was probably our best trip ever!). It was so depressing.

My DW listens to a radio show called "Dream World" late on Sunday nights in the Twin Cities and the futuristic theme song from that show was played in Epcot when we were there. I don't even remember where it was in the park, but the song definitely takes me back!

Also, when we were flying back from WDW in the fall of 2000, I heard U2's "Beautiful Day" for the first time on the plane. Now that song always reminds me of that trip.

The Disney Store smells just like any building at WDW. I can't say exactly what the smell is, it's just the WDW smell. I go in there just for a fix.

When we need something we hit Walmart at 7am on our way to school. Their bakery is hard at work. The smell reminds me of churros. We will only eat churros at WDW!

Those candy stores in the mall. The smell reminds me of the store on Main Street and when I hear the German duck dance, it reminds me of Epcot.

since that is what they give you at the DVC properties to wash the dishes with!!!

Anytime I want to go "home" and can't get there, I buy green palmolive dishwashing soap, take out the Mickey soaps and shampoos and pretend I'm "home".

DocRafiki, I am absolutely dying! I love diesel fuel too! I was actually going to post that, but thought it was too weird. I actually make my DH drive by the airport sometimes so I can open the car window and smell the diesel fuel! I love following buses too - you get a great fix of diesel behind one of them. Diesel fuel is SO Disney!
