What makes a resort your favorite?

1) Location, location, location
2) Theme/"looks"

I love the Beach Club because of the lovely stroll to Epcot and the boat to DHS, and because it's just so pretty, the whole look and style of it is very appealing to me. I love the whole Epcot Resorts area and, if money were no object, would probably always choose to stay there.

I would say location & amenities are tied for the top reasons we pick a resort. Generally we stay at the BWV or VWL. We stayed at BLT in the spring for the first time & really enjoyed that. I'd be happy to just return to those three resorts for the rest of our Disney trips with a visit to the AKV. That would be the only resort we would choose for theme which is generally not important to me at all.

For me it is ...... in no particular order .....

1) Theme
2) Hot tub not far from my room
3 ) Close to Epcot - my favorite park
4) microwave and fridge in my room

I voted for theme/overall feel, but I'm not sure if that does it 100%. The Grand Floridian is and always has been my favourite resort. Ever since I was a little girl on my first few trips, it always took my breath away. I love pretty things and old Victorian things, and deep down, I like being fancy! I also stayed there on my honeymoon so it now has even more special meaning. I cannot afford to stay there every trip at this point in my life, but maybe one day down the road I will be able to visit more frequently.

The Beach Club is my favorite, by a mile, because of the overall feel/theme (its a beautiful resort in a beautiful area), the way the lobby smells, the breezy style of the rooms, the awesome CMs, Storm Along Bay (which has spoiled me for all other pools) and that five minute stroll into my favorite park!
