That does not mean that a Disney cruise is for everyone. In fact, I think Disney appeals to a smaller cross section then most other cruise lines... but it's Disney. And the product they offer cant be found anywhere else.
Good point. I know people who have within a day's drive of WDW their whole life and have no interest in visiting....ever.
For me, Disney is an escape to a Pollyanna world whose very existence is to make your smile. Disney is in the family vacation business and they are very good at what they do! I would never have even dreamed of taking a cruise for a vacation had it not been for Disney. To me (years ago), a cruise was what old people did on vacation not something a 5 yo little boy wanted to do. But I was working TDY at KSC in the late 1990s and staying in Cocoa Beach and the first time I drove by the port and saw the Magic there, I nearly drove off the road! We were huge Disney fans going to the Mouse House and seeing all the Disney movies. I had no idea Disney had a boat! That was it, we cruise on our next vacation and have been hooked ever since.
