In March, we were chosen to ring the bell opening the Liberty Bell Tavern. We got a certificate and pixie dust. What other "Magical Moments" are out there? Can you volunteer or just be in the right place at the right time?

I think it's probably being in the right place at the right time. DD,9 got a magical moments certificate for helping to open the Pocahontas show in AK. We were first in line for the first show of the day. I don't know if they do this for every show or just the first one.

DD got a Magical Moment certificate for getting to release the ladybugs into the Living with the Land exhibit during the Behind the Seeds tour.

We were at AK last week and were given a private showing of Bug's Life. We also received the "Magic Moment" card that was presented to us at the end of the show.

I got a Magical Moments certificate when I was the first golfer out on the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course - the starter had me choose the hole location for hole #9 and after my round, they presented me with the certificate. Unfortunately, I picked a tough hole location and 3-putted! :confused3

My DS5 didn't get a certificate but something he got to do which was really cool...was call the tigers for their morning snack at AK. We were strolling down the trail on our way to the Tigers (my favorite animal!) when a CM asked my son if he would like to help her with the tiger feeding. He had to blow a whistle 3 times, as that is the tigers signal for food, they all dutifully trotted over and the keepers threw in the treats. It was very neat, they gave him a little key-chain as a souvenir, with a whistle on the end also(fortunately just a fake one, as the tigers would have been going mad!) I have heard about a lot of the magical moments that can happen, but this was a surprise, nice little bit of magic.

I volunteered to go up on stage at the Flights of Wonder show at AK last week. I received a Magical Moments certificate for that. (I was hoping for a photo or FP :( )

During the several times we have been there, Josh has gotten a few Magical Moments certificates. He got one when Merlin picked him to pull the sword out of the stone in Fantasyland, he got one for being a terrific rider on Space Mountain--I think it was his very first time on it and the CM at the door gave him a certificate for his "accomplishment" (finally being tall enough!!). He also got picked to do Flights of Wonder and got one for that. He's gotten a few others too. I'll have to look in his scrapbook tonight and let you know what other ones he has. They have all been really neat though!!

Waking Tinkerbell at Tinkerbelle's Treasurers; Decorating the Christmas Tree at the Christmas Store Liberty Square; The hundredth family to be seated at Plaza rest.; Guest Conductor on Train (no certificate); First Family seated for dinner at Tony's; Childs first haircut when done at Barbershop. That's all I can think of right now. :)

We got a certificate on the disney Magic. The cruise director called our cabin and invited our family for a private meet and greet with the characters before the Now its time to say good bye show. It was us and another family with all the characters. It was pretty incredible.
The cruise director told us that our daughter warmed her heart and wanted to do something special for her

Magical Moments are not meant as something one can request, volunteer for, line up for nor plan on. They are random....and a suprise, which is what make the Moment so Magical :wizard:
Just about every location has them...shows, rides, attractions, restaurants, resorts, shops and transportation, etc. Some have more than others.

Our first trip my kids were at DQ and my DS 15 got one. At that time we had never heard of them and really didn't even know what they were. He just said that he was playing a video game and invited some other teens to play with him. It turned out they were CM's and were impressed that he was willing to share his game with them and they gave him the certificate.

My DD got one for opening Fantasyland once.

Well, I see what you're saying, but I disagree. You can volunteer for many of the events mentioned. And there are events that, if a certificate is not presented, you can request one either from the (show, ride, attraction, etc.) operator, or from City Hall. If there is not one available on site (multiple wakings of Tink daily now comes to mind), if you stop by City Hall or guest relations in the other parks, they can facilitate it. You will have to stop back by guest relations later in the day, and they don't guarantee that they can make it happen. Mickey's a busy guy, you know, and they don't always know for sure if he'll be buy to sign it!

Driving the Jungle Cruise is another moment that comes to mind, and you get one for participating in the Family Magic Tour.
