My ds3 made me smile today. :teeth: He has a new pet!!!

Guess what it is? No... not a dog.... definatly not a cat.... Nope, not a bird, or a fish.

My ds3 has a pet ... PEEP! :rotfl:

He got a marshmellow peep from his exchange partner last week, and for a week now the Peep has been 'living' in our refridgerator. He REFUSES to eat it, or let anyone else eat it. He checks on it twice a day to make sure it's alright. He talks in its 'ear' quietly, and at night he even gives it a goodnight kiss. :cloud9:

Awwww, that is so sweet :goodvibes I had a phone call today from a very close friend, that made me smile big time :teeth: :thumbsup2

Oh how sweet!!! :goodvibes I miss that age!

My puppy dog snuggling with me today made me smile. And my DH called from work to tell me he loves me! Always makes me smile! :thumbsup2

My ds3 woke me up by kissing me on the cheek and saying, "I'm up mommy!"

I wish!! My ds4 wakes me up by screaming... MOMMY GET UP!! as he proceeds to do karate moves on my bed.

I smiled today when my DDs (12 and 9) were dancing and playing Ring Around a Rosie with their baby brother (21 months old). We even thought to get it on video.

While out shopping I ran into a friend I had not seen in 5 years, apparently he moved back to my area and works down the road from me.

Aww, that is so cute!!!!!!

1000HappyHaunts thread made me smile a few times today.

I just got back from running errands on my lunch hour. While waiting in line at the store there was a little girl in the cart in front of me, probably around 3 years old and she said "Mommy, that lady is very pretty"

That made me smile :)

My 3yo DS made me smile today. He came up to me with his arms open as wide as they would go and said "Mommy I love you this much! I love you a BIGGER MUCH!"

:cloud9:

The fact that it's FRRRRRRRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:  WWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

My kids always make me smile but my pre-school class cracks me up. :goodvibes Today was a discussion on who toots loudest. Needless to say I had to change the topic of conversation!

It's Friday....DD and I are going to the GF to Cinderellas' Gala Fest tonight.

It's Friday and I didn't have my first class of the day so I got to sleep in. After this week, extra sleep definitely made me smile

My fifth grade DD has been working over the last month or soon on an assignment to invent something. Today they had an "Invention Convention," where they showed off their creations. All the other classes in the school, as well as the parents of the students were invited to go check out the inventions. Of course I had to go. What I didn't realize was that they were supposed to be "selling" their inventions. Most of the kids in her class know me because I've always volunteered at the school, so when I walked in they were all yelling "Mrs Smith! Mrs Smith!" and then starting their pitches. They were hilarious, all starting with a question like "Are you tired of struggling to make your bed?" or "Do you or someone you know have a smelly locker?"

It made me smile to see all that ten and eleven year old enthusiasm and creativity in one place.

My eldest dd a Kindergartener has been working on her oral animal report. I know KG's doing oral reports...grrrr that topic is for a different thread.

Any way, this week she's been saying, A rabbit lives in an barrel, or a rabbit live in a barkel. Finally, this morning she settled for, A rabbit lives underground in a field or a forest....

Sometimes, its funny to see your little one(s) be so serious. I tried not chuckling at her while she practiced.

My kitten Coco and my DH always make me smile!!

:) :) :)

My fiance showed up at my office to take me to lunch at Potbelly (my favorite sandwich shop).

My kindergarten class made me smile today. All 7 of them. They are sweethearts. I am so lucky to be subbing for them and it currently looks like they are mine for the balance of the school year. :)
