What made you first register and post?

I've got a picture, and I've got to get dinner. I just can't say enough to the lurkers, that you aren't involved until you jump right in! Thanks friends!

What made me register and what made me post are two different things. Way back about 5.5 years ago, I found the DIS and lurked around. I started asking questions since this was our first family trip back to WDW in about 4 years. I was asking about CSR at the time (since it was brand new) and just getting tons of info.

We went on our trip in June 1999, and a couple of months after we came back, the format changed here... I finally *HAD* to log in. Before then you just posted and didn't even need to put an e-mail down or anything. So when I felt like posting again, I registered (twice actually, lost my first username) :teeth:

So I was posting almost a year before I had to register :p

Found the DIS while researching buying DVC. We bought in Jan. of 2000 and I finally registered in Feb. when I started researching our first trip as DVC members. Some time later found the DCL board and then found my way over the CB.

Like someone else said, pure irritation drove me to dive in and post after two years of "lurking".

A friend steered me towards the DIS. I didn't post much for about the first year, but then I sort of got hooked and the rest is history.

My guess is that it was in 2000 while starting to plan our Dec 2002 trip to WDW. I changed my log in name after we got back.
