You cant go wrong with the 2500 loop.
There are five of us;my wife and I and three girls age 7-17 and my mother who is 84.
We have stayed in this loop three times, requesting it our last two times.
It is secluded and quiet, but yet close to the bus stop, less than 5 min. one year it was just a short walk through our woods and across the street to the stop, less than 1 min. (However we could hear the buses all the time; cabin 2510) so you might want to ask for a cabin closer in if you can.
A short walk to the laundry and to the Wilderness pool, 3 min.
We enjoy the Wilderness pool because it is not as busy and hectic as the Meadows. However it is not as big nor does it have any attractions, just your basic pool.
We found the housekeeping staff exceptional nice here also, paying special attention to our kids and assisting my elderly mother.
The only downfall to this area was the wait for buses, once you got on the bus you were usually to where you wanted to be in less than 10 minutes (in campground) however waiting was sometimes 10 or more, we usually walked to everywhere and at the most it was a 20 min walk to all places in the campground.
It all comes down to your individual tastes, good luck, hope your time is as good as ours.
