We are looking for the best deal from Pop Century to Port for our Disney Cruise. Could we please ask for your recommendations. Has any one used Dixie Limo? Would like to know your experiences with them. :confused3

Thanks

The last limo company we used was Souther Elegance Limousines. They were excellent. From the reservation, through the pickup reminders and service itself.

I'd have to look it up since it was over a year ago. We used them for roundtrip to the Port for our Disney Cruise, then back to Pop Century. Made a stop at a supermarket before the cruise. I'm thinking they charged us $170 or $180 on that for the roundtrip, and that was for a towncar.

They were great to deal with. The year before I had cancel on them as our cruise plans were altered because of the hurricanes. Did the cruise, but transportation was all on Disney since we had to board in Fort Lauderdale and we didn't know what port we were returning through. They were very easy to work with.

That price is way low for a roundtrip from POP to POP. It is about right for a MCO to MCO run. You are probably looking at $250.00 to $300.00 from Disney to Port and return to Disney and that is car service prices. A taxi would run you close to $300.00 on the meter.

Got me curious now .... I've got to lookup that fare. I know it was by far the lowest fare of any other. But, I went with SE because they were so good to deal with.

Just wanted to add that we also used Southern Elegance, and they were worth every penny. We used them from ship to MCO. They were on time, handled all of the luggage, and drove us to the airport in a spotless limo. I would recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service. We already booked them for our upcoming June cruise!

I've used Tiffany in Orlando about 4 times with no problems, and I know they go to the Port. If we use a car service for our cruise, it will be Tiffany. Most likely though, we will be renting a car.

We are going in two weeks to WDW and then on a Disney cruise. Renting a car one-way to and from the port was only aruond $120 total and renting a car service would have been $250. This way we get a car for two days to do some shopping.

Southern Elegance gets my vote also. Great to deal with prior to cruise - wonderful customer service. We've used them 3x and have been extremely happy with all aspects of their service.

Mary

Thanks everyone for your recommendations. Look's like we have several good options.

Happy Holiday :grouphug:
