What land could you spend all day in?

The North-Western half of the park appeals to me the most. I can't get enough of JC, IJA, PoC, HM, NOS, RoA, Splash Mt., BTM Rail, walking through the shops with a churro or turkey leg in hand, and then waiting for Fantasmic to begin at night.

Fantasyland.......I love it there. I love dark rides. Alice, Peter, Toad, Snow W, Pinocchio, and love riding tea cups with the matterhorn right there.

but I wish tomorrowland was better at DL. Don't get me wrong I like Space Mtn there more than WDW, and I like Buzz, and its kind of cool that star tours is there, but it needs another good attraction. Don't you think? It needs the peoplemover back, sky buckets, or possibly a new attraction? I know all the love is going towards DCA but wouldn't it be nice?

Myself and others have said previously we'd love to see something like Mickey's PhilharMagic take the place of Honey I Shrunk the Audience. For me, that would be a big draw since I love that show. :goodvibes

But yes, Tomorrowland is definitely lacking and in need of something.

NOS / Critter Country / Frontierland

The whole western half of DL is where the best immersive qualities are. A couple years back, I volunteered to watch my niece and nephew (who had passed out near the end of the night in their strollers) so my wife and her sister could hit up the rides that they weren't able to take the kids on earlier in the day. I hadn’t had a chance to ride them either that trip but I wanted to give my wife a chance to spend some time with her sister without the kids around. I just planted myself on a bench near the HM exit and for the 1st time, I purposefully just sat back and soaked in the ambiance. Looking out over the Rivers of America at Tom Sawyer Island with the sounds of Splash Mountain to my left and HM behind me was a very peaceful, enjoyable experience. After all the years that I had been going to DL, I finally had a true feeling for what it is about the place that I love. Sure the rides are great, but it's the lands themselves that gives you the feeling of being in the Deep South or Wild West or on the edge of an Indian jungle.

I probably spend the majority of my time in New Orleans Square area. Least amount of time in ToonTown.

If I can choose only one, it would be New Orleans Square, if two then the former and Adventure Land. :) Sometimes I have to remind myself that there is actually the rest of the park, too. For I spend much of my time, to say the least between those two lands, and to a degree as well Frontier Land. :)

See while I think its a cool show I think it would never fit in Tomorrowland. But I agree it is well past time to replace HISTA. Maybe replace the arcade and HISTA with a dark ride. Though I would hate to see the arcade go it looks soooooooo sad and empty, not like the old days. Its terrible all that money spent on TL and they just made it need even more money to fix up!

Ok now I am wondering why some lines aren't longer and some are not so much shorter since it seems like we all are packing the same areas :rotfl:

Yep, I am among the crowd of NOS and FrontierLand.
When we get to DL , we go to BRB , get 2 coffees and 2 snacks. The we go back up MS and get on the train and get off at NOS. Go right over to the Fast pass for BTMRR. Hop on the MTRB, then do BTMRR. Go to HM, and Pirates, then we either eat at Cafe Orleans or Rancho Del Zoccolo. After that we usually would go to Pooh's ride and then back on HM and Pirates. Maybe get a fastpass for Indy. At the end of the night we wrap it up with climbing Tarzaans tree house and then Indy, then the Jungle Cruise.
Very briefly will we go to Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. I love all of DL and if I had to spend all my time in anyone land besides NOS, I would probably have just as much fun.
Dfi does have a new found love of Gadgets coaster in ToonTown and I , for RogerRabbits Ride. So we do segway to ToonTown now. But , yes for the most part, its all about NOS and Frontierland for us.:wizard:

NOS like most others. Don't care for Fantasyland, and thankfully my kids (5, 3, 1) don't love it either. I've never thought of Main Street as a "land", but I guess it is. It's never been anything more than an elongated foyer to get from the gates to the park and back. Since our trip this March will be our second annual trip and we'll be there for 8 days, maybe we'll spend more time exploring Main Street and other places we didn't last year.

As for Tomorrowland, that has always been my sentimental favorite. It definitely needs a facade refresh and another big attraction. My vote is to replace Autopia with an E-ticket ride. Take a look at how much space that thing takes up on Google Earth. They could do something really cool there, especially if they integrated the monorail line as is.

If they replaced Autopia I think millions of kids would revolt!! It would be a mass children's march, with screaming, whining and lots of tantrums from lack of naps. While most adults can take or leave Autopia, I think in the under 12 crowd it is one of the big favorites. I think riding with a kid again it will be fun for me too, since as an adult driving is just not that exciting hahah!

I think as been mentioned, the rocket rod track, and the old people mover track that is left should be the first priority as its doing nothing up there. Move back the Astro Orbiters to their perch, to make them more interesting, and move HISTA to the history books with Captin EO.

Oh no! I would miss the Autopia! When I was little it was fun to "drive" a car but now I like the scenery, the way the track winds around, the Car Park, seeing the monorail drive right over. It's not my favorite ride but I like it and would be sad to see it go. Not thrilled about the line that is usually there as it seems to take a long time.

OMG, not my kids. None of us like Autopia, not the adults, not the kids. It's lame and I agree that it needs to be replaced...maybe with something like a slick cars track....that is fun!

Main Street-Blue Ribbon bakery for my morning coffee, the cinema, The First 50 Magical Years, The Railroad, all of the shops, characters, parades, Carnation Cafe for Lunch, little entertainment acts, just sitting in town square taking everything in, another parade, more shopping, dinner at the Plaza Inn, and Fireworks. It would be a perfect day. ::yes::

Ohh and I almost forgot... a churro for a snack :)

I dont think I could pick a favorite. NOS comes to mind but the I start thinking about all the qualities of all the different lands! I Love tomorrow land, so futuristic!, Fantasyland makes me feel like a Princess....I love going to DCA, the different areas make me feel like im back in Calif again, and yes, there are times that I do miss living in Calif as crazy as that sounds! So all in all I would say that there isnt one 'land' I want to be in more than another but I certainly love spendign equal time in all!
