We are renting a Studio at SSR at the end of this month for 10 days. Planning on making some light lunches, and breakfasts. What items are in the kitchen area of the studio? Can opener, plates, small bowls, utensils, etc.? Just planning what I should pack and what I don’t have to bother with. I know there’s a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Is there a toaster? I thought if not in the room -
then I can go to the quick service restaurant and they may have toasters there to use?

There is a toaster in the studio. Some disposable cups, plates and small cereal bowls. They used to have actual coffee mugs but I think they no longer supply those. No can openers or other such utensils that would be used for cooking. Studio kitchenettes are pretty intended for quick meals that require little to no preparation.

good to know. Thanx. Will Bring a can opener in order to open up tuna to mix up a quick tuna salad for sandwiches.

If I remember correctly, there should be a can opener with the other supplies. If you get there and it isn't there, just call Housekeeping and ask them to bring you one. If you need extra supplies, just ask Housekeeping for extras.

We had a can opener in the studios of both OKW and BCV. There is also plastic silverware. You might want to bring a plastic container for mixing up and storing tuna salad, as the paper bowls are pretty small.

Usually the cap just screws right off. I'm not sure how it is with all bottles, but we had no trouble getting the cap off of the good stuff (MD, Boone's, Thunderbird) with our hands.

OMG... MD/Boone's/TB... Those were the days. I'll have a Colt 45 in a paper bag, please.
