What kinds of snacks do you serve at a kids birthday?

Setting is a farm with bounce house, corn maze, hay ride.....kids will be playing and coming back to the birthday tables for snacks and drink as needed. Kids are between the ages of 4-7 years old

I'm planning juice boxes and squeezable applesauce. What else would you bring?

Are you going somewhere before or after for a meal or to serve the cake? If you were, I'd say only beverages would be necessary at the farm but if you're not, just go with typical junk/munchie type of stuff. Baby carrots don't exactly say "party" to a 6 y.o. - LOL party:

Whole party will be at the farm. We will have some picnic tables under a covered pavilion.

I usually stick to a fruit tray and a veggie tray, maybe a meat & cheese tray with some crackers. Finger food only, and nothing that requires a lot of prep.

I always tried to coordinate the food to go w/ the party theme in some way.

Since you'll be at a farm w/ a corn maze, I'd definitely do some popcorn. When I think of farms & hay rides, I also think caramel apples, but that could probably get a little messy.

Cheese & crackers might also be a good snack option. Mini chocolate chip cookies would also be fun.

Is the party soon or is it later in September? If the fall season has started where you are, then apple cider & pumpkin cookies would be great!

If you want something that goes with the farm theme, the Annie’s brand makes animal cookies in the shapes of farm animals like chickens, pigs, cows, etc., plus barns and tractors. Very cute and tasty too.

Late September-thank you these are all awesome ideas! I think I might skip the caramel apples, as they might attract bees, but your other ideas are perfect!!

Gogurt, pretzels, goldfish, teddy grahams, fruits and veggies, cheese sticks

You could slice apples and serve with caramel dip. I'd also do veggie tray (mostly carrots and broccoli, as that is what my kids liked the best, but also cauliflower and grape tomatoes), orange slices, cheese cubes or sliced cheese, maybe popcorn, chips and dip.

Usually at that age I’d serve cheese sticks, crackers, clementines and chicken nuggets along with cake or cupcakes. Adding more food proved to be too much.

It depends on the party time. If its like 2-4, people will only expect light snacks like fruit, chips, cheese and crackers, etc. If it is anywhere near a mealtime, say 3-5 or 11-1, people will be hungry. Pizza is easy and popular, as are chicken nugget trays or those tiny hawaiian bread sandwich trays.

Fresh fruits and veggies would suit a farm party well.
