What Kind Of Wrapper Are You?

I love all different kinds of wrapped gift looks. It depends on what is being wrapped and who it is for.
I love kitchen and food items in country looking paper and bows/raffia in more earth tones with splashes of red and green. I love the cranberry and hunter green colors as well.

Other gifts I love the heavier paper, with less Christmasy theme, more of the colors of Christmas. I love scrolls, paisley, etc.
I do love the blues with snowflakes, etc. too.

My gifts always have a ton of ribbons, bows, trinkets, etc. Just love my gifts dressed up!

Each one of my kids' Santa gifts have their own paper, matching to their age and interest level. Usually some type of cool Santa paper for my DS15, Pooh for my DD13 (she'll NEVER outgrow Pooh!), and something young and girly for my DD8. Last year it was Christmas Disney Princesses. Once I wrap their gifts in that paper, I pass that paper along to others since it came from the North Pole and of course we wouldn't have that paper in our house. Does anyone else do this?

I use all sorts of wrapping paper but I especially love what I call "Merry and Bright" wrapping paper! It's a little bit more modern with bright colors, and I think it's a little more fun.

Of course, I use character wrapping paper and some homey/country feeling wrapping paper depending on my mood.

I buy all sorts of wrapping paper-- I like to have a lot to choose from. But, I ALWAYS tie giant bows around all my packages. Always.

I bought black foil wrapping paper with gold snowflakes on it. We have a sort of "black" themed Christmas Tree, so it looks nice under the tree.

You have to take a picture of this and post it when all the gifts are under the tree.


I usually get "Christmas colors" for paper, reds/greens, that coordinate but this year I think I am going to do a hodgepodge of paper. I am trying to come up with a "code" using paper so the kids don't know which presents are theirs. I did that last year and it was a blast watching them try to figure it out-they had fun too. This, of course, depending on DH actually doing some Christmas shopping this year .

Everyone is finding unique wrapping. Last year the paper was so boring. Maybe next year I will try wrapping with fabric. Neaxt year there should be a thread of showing off all the beautiful wrapped gifts. I am going to look in different stores this year and see if I can find some unique paper as well. So much fun hearing all your ideas.
