What kind of toddler lease works for you?

I'm going to get a lease... or right, I mean "safety harness" for our trip. Suggestions for what works for you?

Hot topic! I "leashed" but DD was nuts and would bolt no matter what and no matter where and no amount of teaching or bribing worked!

I found a little pink monkey backpack that she wore and the handle part came out the back. She liked it because she would put her "things" aka Cheerios, change, a doll, etc. in it and she really wasn't aware she was "leashed"...

My nephews (twins) would have never have worn a backpack. First they were heaters as kids (well they still run warm now at 15) and would have sweated themselves to a heat stroke, and second they would want to carry and love the animal.

I bought a simple harness for each of them. They had no trouble wearing them and if I unclipped them they didn't need to take off the harness to be comfortable.

I had the same one linked here. Didn't use it often but it worked wonders at Disney!

I know the ones that look like a stuffed animal are popular and cute but all I could think is how hot that was going to be on DD's back. Especially in the summer!

Got my daughter a cute owl backpack harness that I seen on "the little couple" their kids seemed to love them and our " baby" who is almost 2 loves hers also. Got it at Toys r us.

Why would you want to "lease" a toddler? What is the cost? You'd have to pay me to do this!

I never thought I would needs a harness or "leash" but my DS2 is a runner. We used the one with a cute owl but now it doesn't fit so I'm going to give the one that attaches to both our wrists a try.

we have a little lion we got off of amazon. It has a pocket that was just big enough to hold her sippy cup. she loved it and was excited when she got to put it on because she knew she'd get some freedom.

there are lots of choices for whatever animal you want.

Honestly, the times that we used it the most were waiting in lines for rides. She was old enough that she didn't want to be held, but young enough that she couldn't understand waiting and was small enough to run under the queue lines.
