I had a surprise 10th anniversary cake sent to our room last year from the GF Bakery, it was a hit.

Last summer I had a 30th Birthday Cake delivered for my wife on the day we arrived. Had a nice little cake (which was exactly what I wanted) ballons, and some candies - she loved it !

I had a Cinderella dress waiting in our room when we checked in! My daughter was floored. They also left an autographed photo of Cindy herself!

I've ordered a candy creation from Feralpeg for my husband's birthday. We haven't gone yet, but I'm anticipating it will be wonderful!

He loves SCUBA diving, and she's including a Mickey in scuba gear. He's going to flip!!

The Tuxedo strawberrys were really great . We had them at the WL waiting for us when we got there . MY DH and In laws were pretty happy about that

I ordered Mickey's Hole in One basket from disneyflorist, for Valentine's Day for DBF - it was fantastic!
We also ordered the Strawberry Turndown service - amazing (chocolate covered strawberries). Well worth the price.

I ordered chocolate covered strawberries at Coronado Springs - they came on a white china plate with happy birthday piped in chocolate around the outside of the plate - they were the best chocolate strawberries I have ever tasted (even beat the Grand Floridian!), so anyone who is going to Coronado Springs you just have to order the strawberries, they are to die for.

Chocolate covered strawberries at the Polynesian that were delivered EXACTLY on time, at the right time. My wife still talks about them. I followed up by ordering some more for her on Valentine's Day. Disney's were better...

I get the pre-planning office to get the rest of the stuff I order... cakes, Tuxedo strawberries, candies, they do it all. I wish I could tell you where they get it from. I know the Mickey cake I ordered this year is coming from the Boardwalk Bakery, love there cakes!!!

When one orders such goodies for the room, are they in your room upon arrival, or are they at the front desk? Do these florists and goodie-makers coordinate with hotel staff regarding your room and such before you have even checked in? Would be great to know, thanks!

I asked the pre-planning staff at the Poly Concierge to have it waiting for her when we arrived. We had the princess breafast the next morning and I wasn't sure I would be able to pick one up before hand without her noticing. Depending on where you are staying, they can get stuff through the gift shop from the gift shops in the parks. I would call the resort where you are staying and ask.

Not sure about delivering the ears, but the strawberry turndown service is listed in the regular room service menu at the Poly.
We also ordered a bottle of champagne.
