Kind of along the same lines as a T shirt, but our family often buys jackets or sweatshirts! They lost longer than T shirts, and it's fun to wear them in the winter and remember our fun trips in the sun! My DD5 just outgrew her fleece this year, I guess it's time to go back 
This one will sound really weird, but my all-time favorite souvenir for myself is a Minnie Mouse dress! I got it at the World of Disney at DLR, and I wear it every year for Halloween! It's just a red sundress with white polka dots and a little Minnie ornament on it. But I pop on a black cardigan, black tights and a mouse-ear headband (also a great souvenir that can be displayed) and I'm Minnie! Works great for things like work, etc. where you don't want to wear a complex costume!
