If you are referring to the technology running the boards, (ie vBulletin) you would have to contact the webmaster or the tech support team for details. The technology including servers needed to run a site of this size can become very expensive and many of the designs available to members of the DIS have been custom designed by DIS webmasters.

there's also a large fleet of moderators patrolling the boards, and deleting spam before too many people see it.
