I've got a too cheap set from Sam's and some of the colors are drying out, and some skip - too much stress after a lot of time on a page. I see the Zig pens on scrapbooking warehouse. Any thoughts?

I use the Zig pens--I LOVE THEM! :goodvibes I have the set of all of the colors (a good use for the 50% coupon), because I am a journaling and lettering freak! I have never had a problem with the Zig pens, HTH.

Another ZIG user here! I have the 48-set of Zig writers that I have had for several years and none of them have dried out. They still write great.

I also love Slick Writer pens. You can write on slick paper, transparencies, vellum, plastic, metal, etc. and the ink won't smear! I have these in several colors.

No matter what type of pen you use, make sure you store them horizontally to keep them from drying out. :)

I also use the ZIG Millenium Pen. I used them even before I started scrapbooking. They are my favorite pen. I usually yell at DH when he picks them up to jot down a phone number or something!

I was a sharpy girl...ultra fine point but lately they have been going through my CM album pages....not happy about that either. So I bought a black pen from my CMC to see what happens. Do any of you use ZIG on CM albums?

I have been using (and LOVE  ) the Galaxy Markers. I used to use the zig but found I wasn't using all of the colors. The Galaxy Markers write on everything also.

For markers I use Marvy Uchida - I bought I think 3 packs of a variety of colors. But I hardly use those. Mainly I use my black Zig Millenium pens in a variety of widths. That's one scrapbooking tool I could not live with out.

I use CM pens. My favorites are the bold tip CM pens, works great for calligraphy.

For writing, I have a set of coloro CM pens & a black Zig Writer. I'd been on the lookout, though, for brush markers ever since I'd seen the way they work for inking rubber stamps. Awesome! ::yes::

Anyway, I bought a cheap set at Wal-Mart but returned them when they barely even wrote on paper let alone ink a stamp. They were really hard - not worth wasting money on! :sad2:

Then one day I lucked out in the clearance section at ACMoore. I found a large variety of colors & bought the Brush & Scroll Zig pens - for less than I'd have paid for a pack of Zig brush markers with the 50% coupon! :teeth: So I'm really happy! They work great for inking stamps - very supple. I've only used them to color in one outline, but that worked really well also.
