What kind of kid meal chicken strips do they serve at WDW? Fried? Grilled?

Read on another thread that they've done away with the chicken finger/nugget/whatever you want to call it at most WDW restaurants. I just went online to find out what the kid meal options were for our ADRs, and I saw that at Garden Grill, CRT, and Liberty Tree all listed "chicken strips" on their kids menu.

So...are these fried? Or grilled? I thought they did away with them...I'm happy to see they're still an option. (I also fall into the category of making kids eat healthy while at home, but vacation is vacation--which means chicken fingers/pizza/burgers every night, if that's what they want!

Can anyone offer any insight on this?

The chicken strips that are served at counter service places are fried. It's your typical chicken fingers. At some of the sit down places they do have grilled chicken as a choice for kids.

I am with you on the meal planning. At home I try to balance the meals, but on vacation I just try to make them eat something other than Mickey Bars!:rotfl:

They are the chicken strips like the "Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips" you can get at the grocery store. I think I compare them to the Arby's chicken strips, but certainly better than the McDonalds Chicken Selects. (I might have that backwards). They are fried, and quality will vary from CS to CS. I hate to say it, but I practically live on those at WDW.

I am glad to hear that...on another thread they were talking about how WDW did away with them due to healthier kids menus. It's nice to know there is a fall back option for the kids if they don't like anything else on the menu.

Thanks!

out of all the fast food places around here even.......I love the chicken strips at the parks and resorts....it is 100 percent white meat and they are delicious....not really greasy at all cause I would notice it if it was.......they are really good

I'm pretty sure LTT doesn't offer chicken strips grilled or fried. As far as I know the only kids meals at TS with fried chicken strips are CRT and GG. I believe Prime Time has a chicken nuggets meal. Some of the buffets have strips but some have switched over to baked chicken legs. At CS places the chicken strips meals are only on the adult menu. A few places have nuggets--cosmic ray's and lots of the resorts but ther serving size is 4.
