What kind of hat?

I have a denim hat with a floppy brim that I wore most of my last trip. I pinned my birthday pin to the crown of it. Periodically I would fan myself with it.

What kind of hat do you wear in the parks? I only have big floppy beach hats that wouldsbe highly impractical. My husband doesn't nirmally wear hats but I think he may need one.

Well since you didn't say what the hats were for:

We get the ones that are black with a little mickey on the front and two ears on top! ... ..
You can have your name put on the back of them!

I bet your DH would look VERY handsome in one! ;-)
And every man NEEDS a mickey hat..

DH always wears a baseball cap after our first Disney trip in 2008 and he discovered his thinning hair and the florida sun led to bad sunburn on the top of his head
I will occasionally wear a baseball type hat especially if a braid my hair, got a nasty scalp burn a few years ago from that

I use an umbrella or a straw cowboy hat poolside. Generally hats are irritating for us at WDW though -! Sweaty, hot, and always needing to be stashed somewhere on rides. I use 3 sunscreens though from SPF 20 to SPF 110 - all at once.

I wear a large-brimmed visor with a velcro fastening. It shields my face really well, but isn't as hot to wear as a full hat. Because of the velcro fastening at the back of the visor, t's also easy to loop around a backpack strap or fanny pack strap when you're not wearing it.

DH and I usually wear bucket hats to keep the sun off our ears. We also have baseball caps that we wear sometimes.
