We are going back to Disney in 2011. I am pregnant with a little girl for just a few more weeks. She will just be too young to do autographs when we take her for the first time. It is killing me to not go back for that long! DS and I just keep trying to find reasons to go back sooner.
Anyway, I thought it would be cute to make an autograph quilt! I read about it in the All Ears newsletter and it just stuck with me. But I haven't sewn in quite some time and am just now getting back into it. I have forgotten almost everything! What sort of fabric should I get to take with us? I figure if I start collecting it now it won't seem as expensive when we go. Plus I will have the stroller to haul it around in! I plan to cut the fabric in squares and put those in a hoop or on a clipboard for them to sign on. I will get permanent fabric pens right before the trip. After I get home I will piece it all together and quilt it. Does this sound reasonable? Any suggestions?
