See dh and I usually go w/ what we fit in our pockets. Maybe a small pouch on a string or clip that will fit in my pocket. But w/ a 15 mth old that's not going to work. We have a Skip Hop diaper bag which I love. We also have a backpack. I saw this one and thought it might be a good option b/c it would be easy to carry in line and such. Any thoughts? TIA

Ok, I also found this:

I was thinking about getting the Hip Hammock b/c he's too heavy for his bjorn carrier for more than about 20 mins. This could kill 2 birds w/ one stone. I would still take the Skip Hop but have the camera and stuff like that in this one.

That first bag is actually REALLY cute!!!! I think that I want one..... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My husband uses a "Diaper Dude" www.diaperdude.com and he loves it - he has it in all black and most people just think that it is a messenger bag. It comes with a changing pad and plenty of room - there are three zippered pockets that we use to put toys and pacifiers in to make them easily accessible.

That being said, I think that I am about to order the first bag that you just posted.... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

We don't take our diaper bag in line with us -- we leave it in the stroller. We carry our valuables and a couple snacks for the kids in fanny packs -- used to be one fanny pack before we had kids and now we have two fanny packs to fit the extras.

As for what kind of diaper bag, I have both regular sized diaper bags that are great for running my errands and a large Lands End diaper bag that works great for traveling. I'll probably take one of my standard-sized bags for going to the parks since we'll head back to the hotel for nap time each day and I can restock then. But for the two day road trip down and back, I'm sure I'll want the large bag so I can pack it once for the road trip.

The Hip Hammock - eee-oooouuuucchh! I couldn't tell you which was more uncomfortable when DS was about 15 lbs - the Bjorn or the Hip Hammock. It tends to be particularly brutal on short-waisted people, but pretty tolerable on longer waisted people, or so I've heard.

Neither of the diaper bags that you posted do much for me. Both look hot to wear, and I don't like how someone standing behind you could open up the first bag. When we went to Disney, we left our Skip Hop on the stroller filled with diapers, wipes, change of clothes, etc (basically, not worth much of anything) and carried a Lands End Little Tripper on rides, etc.. The LT held our camera, video camera, wallet, keys, snacks for DS while in line, and that's about it. I would have gotten quite tired of hauling diapers and such on every ride.
