It's that time of year. I don't want anything hot. I don't want to cook. So I was just thinking how I have to go to the market tomorrow and stock up on deli meat and other stuff....but I'm not sure what I want. Everytime I ask for roast beef it's always too rare and I'm tired of turkey....I don't know. What do you guys like? Maybe you'll give me an idea.

Virginia baked ham and pastrami. Don't forget the swiss cheese:) Oh boy now I'm hungry.

I buy fat free ham, fat free turkey, light bologna, roast beef, corned beef, provolone and swiss every week. That is the families weekly sandwich menu.

Breads are white, buttertop wheat, rye without caraway seeds and kaiser rolls.

Tofurkey is really good, even if you're not a vegetarian. It comes in several flavors!

I only buy turkey and chicken on a regular basis and once in a while I will buy Virginia Ham for my daughter-but is all HAS to be Boars Head or I won't buy it!

Ham
Turkey
Roast Beef (DH won't eat this)
Chicken (only if it is buffalo and on sale)

I refuse to buy what they really want which is salami and other meats to make Italians. Just too fattening.

I could really go for a reuben (thinking I might buy some corned beef).

There is not much I buy at the deli. Pretty much the same order everytime. I love Boar's Head ovengold turkey and white american cheese. I also like the NY cheddar.

Roast beef interests me, but it is always way too rare so I never get it. My mother likes baked ham, but I only buy that when she visits. All the other meats look kind of icky.

Its funny that people are posting they don't get roast beef because its too rare, thats why I don't buy much of it is because its not rare enough!!

I usually buy several turkey flavors. This week I bought lemon pepper and cajun and a couple of ham flavors. This week I got Virgina maple and smoked. I also get corned beef, German baloney, pastrami, salami and olive loaf sometimes.

I use to always get boars head, but since my kids can eat a pound a day, now I usually just get Russer or Sara Lee.

I love them all! I got the best corned beef on sale last week. I think there is a little left.......mmmmmm time for a reuben.....

I like Boar's Head deli meats best but only one store around here sells it and it is expensive.

turkey, honey ham, black forest ham, roast beef, salami, mortadella, pastrami

I always love....

Honey turkey breast
Polish ham
Hard Salami
Roast beef

Now I want a sandwich!!! :goodvibes

Everything EXCEPT beef. I love deli meats, especially the low fat ones (they're less chewy), although proper German salami is LUSH.

I love hard salami. I like garlic bologna, but I never think to buy it. Somehow I always end up buying turkey.

I really like roast beef, with horseradish sauce and extra sharp cheddar cheese. My favorite kind of roast beef is Dietz and Watson's london broil roast beef, which is really really rare.

I also like a combo of ham, capicola, and salami, with Italian dressing.

The sun dried tomato turkey at Wal Mart's deli is yummy! I'm not sure what brand it is.

Purdue Chicken.....I'm not crazy about Boars Head as I think many of the local or regional folks make better products for LOTS less money.....Though if the store is out of Purdue chicken, I will get Boars Head Arostica sliced chicken
