What kind of camera?

Hi Im Chrys and I am new to the DisBoards although I have been a long lurker, I love the trip reports and the food porn . I am a huge Disney fan , so by default my family is as well!! We have a trip planned for December 2011. We will be driving down from the first state. My dear hubby will be doing most of the driving but along for the trip will be our 18 year old son and our 6 year old son.


My question is what kind of camera do you use? My camera that I was using a Samsung suddenly bit the dust: now I am in search of a new camera. I would prefer something small that I can carry with me in the parks I am the main photographer in the family. I have several months to make the purchase but I want to know what works for you?

You might want to ask this on our Photography Board found here: http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=97 I use a little Cannon point and shoot type and have owned several of them. I have had great luck with them. Not sure where mine is right now (still unpacking from vacation) so I can't tell you exactly what model it is. We just went to Best Buy and Costco and I played with the different displays to see which seemed the easiest and most comfortable to use.

Thanks. I realized that my camera was "dropping" all the pics that I had taken of my six year old Easter Egg hunting. To be honest I am glad to find out now than being in Disney and coming home to no pictures!! Thanks again!

We just bought a T10 waterproof camera for our recent trip on the Magic and it was amazing. Great quality, very small and completely waterproof.
