I'm taking 4 kids, what type of bag should I bring for the parks, I though of bringing a backpak then I though of knitting and felting a messenger bag. I judt don't know wich type is better to carry around all day

Hi-- I went recently with DD4 and DS18mo. I used the Jansport Air Cisco. Its a backpack that crosses over one shoulder, has gel pads where it crosses over the shoulder (sooo comfy). The strap also released with velcro right across the chest so it was easy to take off and on. It had a pocket on the strap with a zipper for park tix and valuables (so they were easy to get to and never out of eyesight). LOVED this bag!

Hi there, I see so many different bags that people carry, and most look very comfy and good.

Personally, we use a large sized messenger bag. We carry a lot of stuff though, rain slickers, umbrellas (I insist on umbrellas :rotfl: ) clothes, wipes, veggies, etc. I would not recommend knitting and felting a messenger bag though. With the humidity and numerous rain showers I think it would get soaked and heavy. We got a great Tinkerbell one last year @ Mervyn's and it was only like $10.00. Kohl's carries the same brand that Mervyn's did. Good luck~~
