Airfare from Denver to MCO just sky rocketed--what was 1271.00 flights had just increased to nearly 1400.00 this a.m. and nearly 1500.00 by this p.m. Any relief in sight??? would really like to get them purchased
Not sure if this is really the answer but my bet is the rising gas prices! It effects everything we do, the higher the gas the higher the price we pay for everything. Sad really

I'm showing DEN to MCO at $331 for Christmas week.
Keep in mind that on most airlines there are only a certain number of seats allocated at the deepest discounted rate: When someone buys those seats, then it looks like the price goes up, but that's not what's happening. Rather, the cheap seats are gone, and so the price you see is for the next least expensive seats. Sometimes, if a big group picks up a bunch of tickets on a flight, all that's left are the full-fare seats. However, if you just switch times or dates, the cheap seats are still available on other flights.
Keep an eye out for Frontier one day sales. Usually you can get a decent fare from DEN to MCO on one of their flights. They just had a sale last week for two days so it will probably be a couple of weeks before they have another.
Southwest also usually has pretty good prices to MCO from DEN.
Did you try looking at American Airlines, you have to make a stop and switch planes, but I have found fares for us ranging from $172 to $200 round trip depending on the time of year.
