What items must you absolutely take with?

my latest item to add is once a day sun protection.I burn easily but get fed up of stopping to slap on more suncream.I have just bought one called ultrasun that you only have to apply once a day.It is apparently resistant to water so it doesn't matter if i get caught in a downpour!

I always always always bring my itty bitty portable umbrella (folds out to normal size, but I can fit it in my small purse).

I don't think I've ever been to WDW when it didn't rain at least once. And I hate wearing ponchos.

My DH is thinking of putting our water bottles in a locker instead of carrying them around. I would rather have each kid (10,13,16) carry their own stuff, either in a fanny pack and water holder, or a small back pack. What do the rest of you do? I know we need our hands free to enjoy most rides, but I don't want to go to locker several times a day or go hours w/o a drink. How big is the park? I'm thinking you could easily be 30min or more walk away from lockers, right? I don't want to wait an hour while someone goes to the locker. I need to someone who has been there before to help clue in this clueless mom! We haven't been in 9 years. Thanks!

The last three times we've gone, the boys have gotten their own fanny packs and we've purchased those cool water bottle lanyards (I think $3.50-$5). Honestly, the one souvie that's been used the most over the last five years, those water bottle holders/lanyards! :rotfl2: We've used them at other parks, when we've gone on walks, when we've gone to parades, when we've done community service, etc. It's a nice way to be "hands free" but still have water. I like it better than the ones you attach to your waist. Those can get really bulky and be a pain when you're using lap bars on the rides. Using the lanyard ones, you can move it around more.

Never forget starbucks coffee and coffee filters. For a good cup of inroom coffee. Can add ice for iced coffee.
