What is the most unbelievable thing you have seen while in the parks?

I couldn't belive how much trash people threw in the flowers in front of the castle. We stayed behind to let the park clear out a little bit, and were amazed at the trash the poor CM's were pulling out from the flower beds. Makes me wonder how some people were raised.

I couldn't believe the trash the people leave behind also after the parades.

The one unbelievable thing that I saw was a lady, while we were waiting for the parade to start, changed her baby's dirty diaper in the street then threw it out on the street with a bunch of other trash.

I was at Port Orleans-Riverside in the laundry room washing some clothes.A woman proceeds to change her baby's diaper-ON THE CLOTHES FOLDING TABLE-GAG!

Good thing I folded my clothes right into my suitcase. :teeth:

My husband and I went to MK in 2001, also the trash complaint. It didn't look as clean as I was imagining in my mind. People do need to learn to use the trash cans! :earboy2:

Yesterday, I saw an empty water bottle tossed into one of the scene areas of Pirates and a bottle in the middle of Splash Mountain.

After Wishes, the MK was a total mess. I don't remember ever seeing it this bad. I have no idea what's going on, but I hope this isn't a trend.

I agree with everyone that leaving behind garbage is getting out of control everywhere, not just at Disney. For whatever reason people today feel they could just leave their trash anywhere and it's not their problem. I really wish I could understand their thinking because I certainly was not brought up that way. The scary thing is since the adults do this with garbage what do you suppose their children will do? After all, children tend to copy the ways of their parents.

You know I have always wondered, if people make such messes in public, I can only imagine what their homes look like! :)

This is a hot-button issue for us Panthesists. Unfortunately, I fear that there is not really much of a correlation. Littering is a reflection of lack of consideration for others and lack of respect for society-in-general, conditions that appparently many folks in society suffer from. However, their consideration for themselves and their own, and their respect for themselves and their own, could be radically different from that they hold for society.

Bicker, I know that is not always the case, but I do know some people who are exactly like that. Litter in public, leave their hotels rooms trashed, their workspace is chaos, and their house looks like a tornado went through it.

I personally think better about folks who are slobs than folks who are selfish. ;)

I agree with the posters who think the trash is too much. I've been going to Dis for over 20 years and in the past 8 years it seem people are just getting more and more rude in behavior and attitude. There are trash cans everywhere, just use them. :Pinkbounc The idea (at Dis and anywhere else) that I'm paying money, this isn't my place, so I can do what I want is awful. I'm saying that partly from a SIL that always lets her kids make a mess when they are out to eat, because she says it's not her house and people are paid to clean up after her. We don't go out with them!!!!!

And to bicker: being a slob in public(not meaning your dress) is selfish.

The one that appalled me the most was that someone threw an empty bottle in IASW. I mean, c'mon! That's such a cute, friendly little ride! But what got me the most at the parks was when we were watching the Dapper Dans perform on Main Street and people were walking right in front of them. I mean, RIGHT in front of them. When they stretched out their arms during a song, one man almost got hit in the face because he was so close. The DD tried to be polite, but I finally overheard one of them say to someone "Oh, don't worry. You're just walking right in front of us here." Fortunately he said it very quietly, but I hope the guy was embarrassed. I'm probably so sensitive because I know DS is performing at DL this summer for the guests there, and I kind of hope it doesn't happen to him (at least too often).

I was at IOA a year ago, standing in line for the pteradactyl ride. A young boy needed to go to the bathroom so the father picked him up and put him over the railing (onto the grass) and told him to go there. I was appalled. About trash, people tend to forget that it is humans that do have to pick it up. The trash does not disappear on its own. I am also appalled at how people leave bathrooms anywhere. It is so disgusting. There are times I go into one stall and have to exit because of how disgusting it is. do people leave their own bathrooms like that.
