DVC and Bay Lake Towers. What is the purpose. This is not a camping question but you guys have a wealth of knowledge.

DVC = Disney Vacation Club, in other words a timeshare.

Bay Lake Towers is the latest timeshare property. Although you can pay cash to stay there (or any other DVC property.)

Not quite sure about your question. It a place to sleep. That said my sister is a DVC member and BLT is her home resort. It is a nice place. We went over there on our last trip and had alot of fun. But for me and the DW we will still take the Fort.

What's done is done tho and life goes on. I may even stay in the BLT one of these days, but I don't like the look of it, with the North Garden Wing the CR was simple, and balanced, not now.

When the family started to go to DIS, we could not afford to stay in the Big A frame Contemporary. We used to switch back and forth between the North Wing and South Wing. The cost was approximately 1/2.

A memorable experience at the North Wing ; if you walked all the way up the beach there was a trail that went back to a marble bench and an arbor. Don't hold me to exact facts (I am really old), but there was a stone bench back in the woods.

I ran into my 1st herd, swarm, gaggle, flock, whatever---a pack of armadillos.

My son (9 years old) ran and the protector that I am, I passed him with ease. "Kid you are on your own".
