What is your worst first day story?

On my first day at college getting lost

My first day as a cocktail waitress on a paddleboat. I had never waitressed or bartended at all. I managed to drop a tray full of drinks when the boat shifted, got several orders totally confused...just a general disaster. I lasted about three more days before realizing that I clearly was not cut out for anything involving orders and trays. Went and got a job as a cage cashier at the local casino and never looked back.
