What is your touring plan for May 4-6?

Now that the press info has been released (on mouseplanet.com) for May 4 - 6 what is your touring plan? Are you going with the press to see what they see, or avoiding it at all costs?

If you haven't seen it the press schedule is:
May 4 - MGM 4pm - 12am
May 5 - MK 5am - 3pm (1pm is the kick-off at MK)
May 5 - Epcot 4pm - 1am
May 6 - AK 5am - 1:30pm

Let me just clarify: here is the official schedule of press events straight from the invitation:

May 4: Lights, Motors, Action! grand opening 5:45PM Studios
May 5: Cinderellabration premiere 9:AM MK
"Vacathalon" competition, 10:30 MK-Main Street USA
Global 50th Anniversary Celebration 1M MK
Soarin' grand opening Epcot 7M
May 6: Expedition Everest preview AK 8:15AM

Since the Studios are not closing early on May 4, this probably means that just the area by LMA will be closed to the general public and open to the media only.

MK is open regular hours on May 5 but expect to see lots of cameras and microphones. Epcot is closing at 3 on the 5th.

The Expedition Everest preview will probably be held in a restricted area of the AK where the contruction is going on. It is possible that a small protion of the AK will be closed for a while that morning for the press event.

If I hear any more details I will post them.

We will avoiding the press!

Our big deal is taking our DS on his first visit to MK... Standing around in huge crowds, to maybe, just maybe, catch a glimpse of something, or some 'talking head'... That is NOT what we are going for.

We will visit MK on Tuesday, which should be the very slowest day. And, again on Wednesday! Now, I know that Wednesday is EMH hours... But, we will be taking a very layed back approach. Not fighting the lines and crowds for the busiest attractions. We have PS at Cinderella's table, followed by staking out a good spot for Cinderellabration.

I hope this works out well for us.

And, I hope we have great weather!

My DH is taking the day off so that we can be at the MK on the 5th. The only thing we are doing for sure is the 1 pm thing at MK and we have some board meets planned that day and the next (6th)
