I don't have any teens myself, both my sons are still preschool age. I do however chaperone a senior trip to WDW with about 30 teenagers every year and have done so for about 6 years now. Most of them enjoy the thrill rides (3 mountains, RnR and ToT) but I've always been impressed with how much they really enjoy the old classics. Even without their parents there to convince them to, they still love the stuff they remember from being kids. It's very endearing and I often wish their parents could see them get excited like little kids again. I hope your son just lets the magic take over and you'll see that he loves it all still. :) Have fun!!!

Fantasyland holds of little interest-it's fun to wander around in but there's really nothing to do. At MK my favourite ride is BTMRR, Space Mountain and Splash are also good options. Avoid It's a Small World at all costs. That ride is the plague.

As for dining, I really like Sci-Fi at Hollywood Studios :)

Just as a thought - with my older kids (now 18, 19, and 22) we shift our touring plans to be late into the evening.

When we vacation with my younger kids we are rope drop people. With the older kids we usually start later in the day and close out the parks. The teen set seems to enjoy the parks a lot more in the evening and after dark if possible.

I have a 21 year old that has been going his whole life. He is not a fan of thrill rides but does love the mountains at MK and EE and pretty much anything at WDW except TOT, but most teens love that. He can take or leave the things like small world or pooh, and sometimes would choose to go off on his own when we would spend extra time there with the much younger DS. He likes good food amd always wants to do one of the good steak houses. He also likes Rain Forest Cafe. He likes the buffet food, but in his teens, did not really care to interact with the characters. He loved the Star Wars stuff and everything about Epcot. He and I did WS alone one night a couple years ago and snacked our way though the evening, sharing a snack from each country and he really liked that. He might like some pool time and some alone time as well.
