where do you buy your clothes? are you trendy or classic?

preppie. My clothes come from either Land's End, LL Bean, JC Penney or Macy's. I look at stores like Wet Seal and Forever 21 the same way I look at an ink blot test.

Comfort!

I prefer to wear jeans and a tee shirt, but if I'm going somewhere out, like out to eat or to a bar or something, I'll wear jeans and a blouse. When I'm working, I wear khaki style pants with a nice blouse, or rarely a skirt and blouse.

I get my clothes from Lane Bryant (I'm plus size), JC Penney, Sears, occasionally Fashion Bug, and my work clothes from Dress Barn. While I have yet to find more than a tee shirt there for a top, I usually get jeans from Walmart.

I pretty much dress like I did in high school minus the 80s hair and makeup. I never followed trends -- you could look at a picture of just my body in high school and would never know what time period it was. Until you got to the hair and makeup.

Now that I've lost much of the weight, I'm back to my usual style.

Oxford button down collar shirts. Short sleeve for summer, long for winter. Pleated front trousers with or without cuffs. Easy Spirit shoes.

I prefer Brooks Brothers for trousers, blazers/jackets and sweaters, and LL Bean or Land's End for the shirts I wear to work.

I call it my uniform. :teeth:

I don't own a dress or skirt. For casual, I wear capri length bottoms and sleeveless tank style tops. I favor Tinkerbell tanks. :teeth:

That's it!

Utterly boring, predictable, and perfect for travel. ::yes::

I love Wet Seal and Forever 21, although I can't get away with much in there. I do find things at Charlotte Russe though...
Most of my clothes come from Kohls.... and Disney Store tees... lol

I'd say trendy??

Most of my stuff comes from either Forever 21 or Target!

is cheap a style :)

I think so!! I am very plain, not trendy or classic. Old Navy, JC Penney, Sears and Kohls are my favorite places to shop. Plain jeans, shorts or medium pants and usually solid T- Shirts and cardigans or a fleece. BORING. I wish I had style.

I'm definitely a Classic and my favorite clothes always seem to be Ralph Lauren.

Almost everything of mine comes from JCPenny.

I get a few things at Old Navy but not much...

I have a ton, and prefer to wear, restaurant T-Shirts. Margaritaville, Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, etc... I live in those! With Jeans.

It's called comfort! Jeans, sweater, sneaks, work or play, always the same!

Comfortable!:lmao:

For a long time, I was really into goth--dark clothing, dark makeup, spikes, chains, etc.

Then I moved to a small town where goths are looked at funny. So I slowly began to change..less of the spikes, chains and dark makeup. I still wear a lot of dark colors and jeans, though. I have kind of a quirky personality, so I have accessories that reflect that..like my 'booty bag'.

My 'booty bag' is a totebag/purse that I made out of an old pair of DH's jeans. I've drawn on it in Sharpie and stuck various pins to it and there's a couple of cute keychains hanging off of one of the belt loops. I've gotten SO many compliments on it. :) Not because it's beautiful, but because it's incredibly functional and funky. :)

Hmmm, not sure what my style is.

Lately most of my clothes have been coming from Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Loft, Black Horse/White Barn.

I lean more towards trendy, I guess, though I prefer to think of it more as "artsy" because I kind of do my own thing.

I shop at a wide variety of places. NY and Company and Macys are favorites, though.

Is this a local store, an inside joke, or a typo? :rotfl:

Gosh, I don't know WHAT it would be called. I wear nice jeans (Goldsign, Joe's, Citizens of Humanity) and capris and my tops REALLY run the gamut. Cashmere from Neiman and Banana Republic, tops from JCrew, Macys and even Old Navy.

I am 47. I do not try to dress like my 20 year old daughter. But I refuse to dress tacky and cheap and in styles that are not flattering.

My style is "good" !!!!!
