Am scared of tot but at the same time dying to go on it, I see kids as young as two do it so again how, I am more scared of the drops then anything else

I'm no help, I just realized that with doing the child swap DH and I won't be going on ToT together and I really don't want to go on alone.

I have no secret, I did it once and will never do it again!
I am not a fan of the drop rides, but in a weird way it was fun. Everyone would scream each time we dropped and then bust out laughing when we stopped. I even grabbed the person's next to me leg :lmao: I feel like I braved it once and that is definitely enough for me.

ToT terrifies me and I scream like a little girl (and I'm a 40yo guy :))... but it's my favorite ride in all the parks!

You gotta try it.

I rode it once and will never ride again. I hate the dropping feeling and that's all it was. Not fun. Lol. I came off shaking and it took me a good 10 minutes to recover. Nope. Won't be doing that again.

I don't like ToT either. I've been on it before, but one day all of a sudden was afraid of it.
Yet I'll go on Rockin' Roller Coaster 3 times.
I also have a phobia of log flume type rides. Not really sure why. Hubby made me go on Jurassic Park once and I had a panic attack.

Who knows where fears come from?

I loved it, but couldn't force myself to do it twice. My daughter did it twice though, and she was only 7. I'm just a big baby is all. You really should attempt to get up the courage to try it once though because it is mega fun.

It is on my bucket list but after I went on space mountain for the first time I was shaking (sp) like a leave ( sp) so I don't think I van handle tot

I think it is fun just because it's bit scary. Not knowing when that next drop will come is fun for some and not for others. I am the ONLY one in our family that will do it and it's not really fun alone:sad2:. DH and oldest DS tried it and said never again. Little guy go scared at HM when we was really little and the outside looks enough like HM that he will not get even close it it. He would like the ride its self if he tried it once. Try to make yourself try it once and just see if your like it or not.

I did it once and that was it for me. Hated the drops and coming out of my seat. I clung to my DD who was 8 at the time. We both were not fans of it.

So what is scarier (sp) space or tot

Both!:rotfl2: Space probably more so because I couldn't see what was coming. I also didn't feel like I had control of my daughter since she was in the seat behind me. With ToT she was next to me.

I've been in an elevator that fell three stories before the breaks kicked in (and then fell another few feet for some reason before stranding me for 45 minutes until the maintenance man could pry the doors open and let me and my boss crawl out onto his ladder). I still think Rockin' Roller Coaster is scarier. But I sure wish I could just do the intro section to ToT and then skip the ride part. I'd do that gladly.

You can do the intro part. Just use the chicken exit after. They have exits on all the rides, if you can't find it ask a CM.

Yeah, I guess I could, hadn't thought about that. I just hate the embarrassment. Plus, DH would complain I didn't stay with him for the ride. Peer Pressure!
