What is your schedule like for this Halloween? 🎃

I'm on vacation in Orlando. Halloween will be: Sleep in. Arrive at Universal around 3pm to catch the Horror Makeup Show and then get into a Stay and Scream area. Walk about 5-6 miles all over HHN all evening. Go back to the condo late, and wash-rinse-repeat every day through November 4th. Planning to do a lot of nothing for a couple of days after that!

It's midterm season so I'll be grading on Halloween. I know, real exciting.

Now tomorrow is my day of debauchery and craziness as I am hosting the Rocky Horror Picture Show at my University. We were lucky enough to get a member of the original London cast of the stage musical so it should be a riot. I even convinced my University President to attend.

I teach a lab at 8am on Tuesday, so I'll be on campus by 7:30am. I'm going to try to make the time to swing through Dunkin to get some munchkins for my students; it's Halloween, after all. I'll go home around 4 to get ready for trick-or-treaters, but we don't decorate or anything. I think my SIL is taking his 7yo to the trunk-or-treat in town from 4-6. We are close enough so they can walk into town and back. DD probably won't get home until close to 6, and I think they'll take the 7yo to show off his costume at a couple of our/their friends' homes, but no real trick-or-treating. Hopefully someone is home by 7 to feed the boy and hand out candy as I have to pick up DH at work around 7:45; he teaches 6-7:30 and is an immobilizer due to shoulder surgery, so he can't drive. We might stop in town for a Halloween beer on the way home.

Can you do the time warp dance?

Sleep in (from SeaWorld Howl-o-Scream tonight).
Late lunch at NBC Grille
Stay & scream
HHN - attempting all houses w/ no EP in one night :scared1:

Arrive back at hotel about 2:15am utterly exhausted.

  • Put up the spiderweb light thing if I'm feeling inspired in the morning
  • Classes at 11:30 and 2:30
  • Make an early dinner...not sure what yet
  • Hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters.

You are a brave, brave person! I can't manage more than 6-8 in a night WITH EP. The sheer distances walked do me in. Good luck!

I work and the kids have school. YDS will go ToT with friends (he is a freshman). ODS is a senior and will probably just hang out at home. No one ever comes to our house--we live on a little side street and never get trick or treaters. We do have candy just in case.
