I'm a Polymer Chemist for a rather large Petrochemical company.

DH claims to be an IT Architect but I've never really figured out what he actually does

I used to live fairly near there when I was a child (well Bo'ness). My dad had an insurance brokerage in Grangemouth, and I remember traveling around there and the site of the Petrochemical works being pretty awe inspiring (for a 6 year old).
I also have it in memory that there was once a huge explosion there that was heard for miles, would have been late 70's.
