What is your PETS name?

DD has been naming our pets since she was old enough to voice an opinion. Our dog now is a golden retriever named Sunny. It's a perfect name for her.

The dog we had before was a German Shepherd/malanois mix and dd named HER Charlie--she did resemble the dog in All Dogs Go to Heaven. Charlie did turn out to be a fitting name for her, as well.

Our dog is named Molly. She sort of came with the name. The rescue organization who took her from the pound called her Molly. When we met her, the name seemed to suit her so we didn't change it.

Teddy. We didn't name him though. We got him when he was 10 months old, and the people who had him before us named him.

I have two siamese cats. A mother Blue Belle and her daughter Liberty Belle(we call her Libby)

Our cat's name is Cricket. Our next cat will be Poppet. (I just want to come home everyday and say " 'ello Poppet!" a'la Pirates of the Caribbean 1.)

I have two ferrets. The girl is aptly named "Pudge" (after the fish in "Lilo and Stitch") and the boy is "Jasper" because he's such a Jasper sometimes. He was being a nudge one day right after we got him from the shelter and I told him to "Stop being a Jasper" and it stuck.

Our cat's name is Stoopid. It was originally Spaz, but when we would say "you're so stupid," he would come running, so Stoopid stuck.

Maddy or Madeline. We wanted to name a child that, but both of my dh's grandparents had a sister who died in childhood named Madeline so it's kind of thought of as "cursed" in his family.

We adopted our mini dachshund almost 2 years ago so she was already named "Pippi" She is a red dachshund of course.

2 cats....Kirby and Spencer. Spencer is our diabetic cat that has been quite costly over the last 6 months and is now affectionately known as $pencer.

Our dog's name is Adeen, but she is a 3 legger and we call her Hoppy because it looks like she is hopping when she walks.
Our new siamese kitten is Wilbur. She was the runt and my daughter had just seen and read Charolette's Web thus the name.
We have a Beta fish named Hermione also named by my daughter her Favorite character in Harry Potter

We always have people names-Oscar (named by his foster mother) and Isa[belle]. It's Belle's adoption day today-she's lived here two years.

For dogs we have Cody (female), Kacie (female) and Griffey (male)
The cats are Charlie Kitten and Timmy (aka Timothy Michael when he's in trouble).

Horses are Skippy and Smuckers, Smuckers name was Tango when we got her, but DD hated that name so she is now Smuckers.

My best friend has the silliest names for her cats...she has Kitty Mama, and Kitty Cousin. They were named by her daughter when she was 3 or 4.

The girl I work with has a dog named Mama who has never been a Mama!!

Barkley was our beloved Westie. I could nevere have found a better name.

Chip is our new little guy and it seems to suit him well....he was almost a Cooper, but the neices HATED that name. So, Chip it is!

My Beagle is Hank the Cowdog and DSO's Japanese Chin is Sir LB Snuffles (I totally didn't name him). She tries to call him Little Bit (thus the LB) but he is usually just "Little Dog" or "Chukka" (Marshall, Will and Holly...on a routine expedition).

We had a dog named Please Baby (as in, Please Baby, don't pee on the floor) and I used to have a cat named Prize because she was a Sur-prise and one named Not Dog. DSO had one named Stupid and a peach conure named Birdbrain.

Sometimes I wonder why we seem to be incapable of using normal names like Fluffy and Rex...
