What is your opinion on the United Kingdom?

Conneaut Lake Park, 1978. Dark Green THICK Polyester tshirt and shorts, no matter what the weather. That was also a job where you worked open to close, no matter what the hours (worst was when the park opened at 10 am and didn't close until 2 am and we had to be there a half hour early to open up and stay a half hour after to close up) all for 90 cents an hour. We were "seasonal workers" so minimum wage and limits on hours or overtime did not apply to us. At least we got breaks and free food at the cafeteria and the vast majority of us were teens so it was a party all day (and night).

The house itself is a little better (slightly bigger, newer floors, basement & garage are both finished), but the garden is much worse.

My high school Band uniform. Our school colours were yellow and green. We has mustard yellow blazers and green skirts or pants. We use to joke that we looked like Moldy Bananas. Luckily my last year we got nicer green sweaters which we wore with black pants or skirts.

That house actually sold about a year ago. It’s smaller and more outdated than ours but it is super cute on the outside and has a nice big driveway (we have no driveway at all)

Better! Beautiful enormous builders home on big water, great boathouse! We’re on a bayou and no boathouse or pool! The pool house would be great for my dad!

Depends on if I was given my choice of which boat to live on. I live across the street from a marina/yacht club 😊. Everything from small sail boats to large cabin cruisers and all types of boat in between!

Definitely worse, despite the fact that the house is valued at more than mine because it has more square footage. I'd have to update everything to my taste, I don't like the floor plan, and my lot is better.

We walked into a hotel in Vegas that our friend booked for us called The Boardwalk. One look at the room and we started calling other hotels for availability. I don’t remember what it was called. We didn’t even stay the night there.

We also stayed one night at a disgusting hotel in Rome. DH found it on a travel review site and thought it would be fine for one night. Wrong! DD14 (she was 6 at the time) took her shoes off. Her feet were completely black on the bottom after walking on the floor. After I saw that we all kept our shoes on the entire time. The room was gross and outdated.

On a road trip from NY to Florida. Stayed at a motel somewhere in South Carolina. It was awful. We packed up in the middle of the night and got back on the road. The room was so gross. We tried to sleep on top of the covers in our clothes. Heard scratching noises in the room and decided to just leave. Never really got any sleep.

Nothing. I wasn't a goof off or slacker, and my parents knew it. I generally had good grades, but if I struggled, they knew I was doing my best.

It's been years since I've been to a place that's strictly a bar. I'll probably hit a few this summer though, now that they're open with live music.

Yes. The Jolly Roger Hotel across the street from Disneyland. We checked out 2 days early and left 2 park days on the table. There was a huge ant infestation at the hotel. We couldn't do it anymore. On the plus side we did everything at Disneyland because it was rained out for 3 solid days where everything we did was walk on with no waits. Those were the days.

It's 50/50. They have a smaller backyard, but they're further away from the train tracks. Idk if it's further enough to make any difference though.

Yes. I have a relative who hoards animals. And their place is not big at all. Makes your eyes water

We just bought a vacay place in FL. Closed last month and popped into a place right by our neighborhood, in plaza we can walk to. Has Irish name and we thought it was a restaurant. Nope, just a bar and it was interesting.

From 2017 to 2020 we lived in a small town that had a main street with a couple bars. We went to those often. But it was a trendy more upscale bar area.

Across the road is a residential street with single family houses with nice yards. While I miss having a yard, I doubt any of those houses are fully accessible with every bell and whistle like our apartment has, so we’re probably better off here.
