What is your most wasted possession?

easy-wedding china and crystal.
Yes this! I wasn't planning on getting wedding china, but my MIL insisted she was going to buy us china or a set of silver flatware. I had no interest in polishing flatware, so we chose the china. I think I've used it once or twice in 34 years. Years ago, my boss and his wife started giving me Spode Christmas Tree china every year. Then my mom and sister started adding to my set. Before long, I had 10 settings and a bunch of serving accessories. Christmas dinner is always at my house, so that's what I use. The wedding china just sits in the cabinet.

My grandmother’s set of china. I’ve only used it for a couple holiday dinners over the past 40 years. I love how it looks in my china cabinet though.

At least our China gets used at Thanksgiving and Christmas every year.

We have 4 beds (2 of them hideabeds) that haven't been used in years.

We heated our house for nearly 20 years with our wood fireplace insert, but haven't used it in about 20 years since wood got so expensive, so we took it out and put in an electric fake fireplace insert.

Rarely use our backyard. Only out there to cut the lawn and water the plants.

Agree.

I didn't even get to choose my china. My MIL took it upon herself to purchase a pattern of her choosing. I think I've used it once.

I have some lovely jewelry (DH gift of choice) but never wear 90% of it. I don't wear a diamond and sapphire tennis bracelet to work in the garden or go grocery shopping!

The air fryer. It was bought even though I said I didn't want one and would probably never use it. I have never used it.
How do you reheat your French fries??!!?? 🍟
(Note: I recognize most people don’t recognize this food group. I’m mostly joking. I use mine at least once a week to reheat fried foods or for fish sticks, chicken tenders, etc)

Until last week, I would have said the never once used waterpik that I bought over 2 years ago for a smokin hot deal for Christmas. (I try to brush regularly, hate flossing, and now I have to be a good example to impressionable youth.)
I went to the dentist for the 1st time in ~20 years. She highly recommended that I use the waterpik instead of flossing. Once I was relieved of the burden of flossing, I used the weird thing. I didn’t hate it. I’ll probably keep using it.

MIL tried to choose our pattern herself. We told her we had something specific in mind and she relented. I still haven’t used it much. She once came over for a BBQ and asked we weren’t using the China. 😳

1. A beautiful bracelet handmade in Israel out of various stones (I massage for a living)
2. My backyard. The previous owner did a beautiful job creating several spaces, including a hand dug koi pond, fire pit, hot tub and numerous plants, flowers and trees. Oh yeah, a fenced in garden, I’ve never even set foot in the garden.
3. my air fryer. Not sure how to even use it. It currently is acting as a place for all of pot holders to hang out

A Keurig machine given to me by a loving coffee drinking daughter and son in law (a cup never leaves his hand). Ever.

When I want coffee, I always want a Starbucks Iced Peppermint Mocha with lots of whipped cream.

The vacuum cleaner.

No seriously, I would say the sodastream thing. I do not use it very much at all, it just bugs me to have to replace the co2 tanks because they are not cheap and they do not last very long. It seems to be almost as cheap to just buy pre-made sparkling water.

Many who know me would suggest “brain” should be my answer. But I will go with telescope. I don’t stay up that late, then it’s too hot out, it’s too cold out, it’s too humid out…. I have been thinking of looking for a group to donate it to.

my fancy watches. I only wear my Apple Watch now so all those watches are just sitting in the drawer. I had a wedding in the summer, I was going to wear a fancy watch, but it needed a new battery and I didn't have time to get it replaced so didn't get to wear it.
