What is your most Magical Moment?

I saw a thread the other day on what made you cry and thought about this topic. Not neccessarily what made you cry but "What is your most magical moment at Disney World?" Not sure that I have one yet. Taking the kids for the first time this fall. I'm sure to have one after that. Thanks.

My 5 year old son jumped up and down and waved through the ENTIRE SpectroMagic parade. Some of the characters even blew him kisses! He was SO excited! Seeing how much fun he was having was magical for my husband and I for sure!

I had been many times before we took DS on his first trip in January. The whole trip was Magical, there is nothing better than seeing the magic through your child's eyes or through the eyes of someone experiencing the world for the first time. It makes it even more magical because although my son was just 2 when we went, he still talks about little things he remembers, he loves to watch the videos and look at the pictures and tells other people about going to Disney World. That's magical!!

My most magical Disney moment was last summer when I took my 2.5 year old princess fanatic to breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. Seeing her meet Cinderella and all of the other princesses literally brought tears to my eyes. It was wonderful!

Every moment I spend in WDW is magical to me. I cry everytime I think of my DD face the first time she met Peter Pan or ate w/ Belle. The time the sax player played Happy Birthday to her while walking down Main St. Even the sparkle in her eye on Sunday mornig when we sit down to breakfast and watch our WDW home videos. She still gets so excited it's like we're there.

Another Magical momnet was when DH proposed to me in WDW.

There have been many magical moments for me, but one of my favorites has to be when I took my DD up to meet Stitch and she interacted and smiled at him. My DD is significantly diferrently-abled, so this was a BIG moment for me...
Another was the 1st time DH took me and I saw the welcome sign, I bawled like a baby....

everyone is right, the whole experiance is magical. but the thing that did it for me........wishes. the fireworks behind the castle. magical. went to WDW for the first time when i was 23, and it just made me cry. i luv feeling like a kid. i can't wait to experiance with dh, march '08 will be his first time!

For me, it was when DD was 8 years old. We went to what was the equivalent of EMH at MK. By about 11pm, we were tired and ready to head back to our resort. As we started toward the entrance, Main Street was pretty much empty. Everyone was off doing rides. As we started down Main Street, DD asked me if it would be silly if she danced down the street. I told her to go for it. I mean, how often does a person get to dance down Main Street of the MK? So she did. She danced from the hub area in front of the castle all the way to the exit. The only people around was a couple walking behind. They were so sweet. They hung back behind me just enough so that they would not bother DD and they watched her dance back and forth across the street. I'd give anything to have a film of that, but I didn't have a camera with me at the time.

my first trip to WDW was when in 1988.i went with my cousin(also my best friend) Andrewand we had a little fall out in the MK,it happened right on the bridge at the castle.well Minnie was standing for photos and she must have saw me on one side sulking and my cus on the other.after her photo time was up she walked over and took Andrews hand and led him to me,she then took my hand made us hug.as we all stood on the bridge Minnie did a liitle happy dance and then we all hugged........it was SOOOOO COOOOL !!!!

When dd saw Tinkerbell fly from the castle during Wishes. She was 6 and her tiny had flew up over her mouth as she gasped, "Oh! She's real! She's really real!". It gives me goosebumps to even think about!

When my family and I where picked to open the Magic Kingdom and be in the park before it opened and meet all the charachters and sat with them on the train. It was truly magical.

When my DH proposed to me on an Illuminations Cruise and then a year later having our Fairy Tale Wedding at WDW and ending the day with a desert Reception in Epcot in front of Illuminations....

The first time I went to DisneyWorld and saw Lilo and Stitch!! I WAS ECSTATIC!!!

My DS8 has an eye disorder and he can not see in 3D. He's failed every 3D test the eye doctor has given him in the last 8 years.

The first year we went to WDW we avoided all the 3D shows.

The second time we decided to go see Philharmagic because we took our neice and we knew she would enjoy it.... we told our son to put on the 3D glasses so the screen wouldn't be too blurry.

The first time he reached up for something coming out of the screen.... I started screaming for my husband who was sitting a couple seats down from me. " He can see! He can see!" I cried during the entire show..... my eyes were glued to my son who couldn't believe what he was seeing.

My son's doctor says it was different technology using the polarized lenses that allowed my son to see in 3D...... my son says it was Disney Magic. I have to agree with him.

Oh my gosh I have so many! ... My favorites though are....

The first time I took my niece to Disney she was 5 years old, we took her to the Princess Breakfast in Norway, she was dressed as Mulan. We got seated at our table and there were princesses walking around everywhere. I looked over at my niece and she was just staring at them in awe and I heard her whisper to very quietly to herself "I feel like I am in a dream."

Went with my brother and SIL with my 3 year old nephew, my brother and SIL are not into Disney at all, but we went to The Crystal Palace for breakfast and when Pooh came by our table, he kneeled by my nephew's highchair and my nephew leaned over and gave Pooh a hug and a kiss on the nose...SO cute, but then when I looked over at my brother, HE had tears in his eyes!!!!

This past May, I took my niece back to Disney (she is now 7) and I got her an appointment at the Bibbidi Boutique....and the LOOK on her face when they turned her around to look in the mirror after she was all done was absolutely PRICELESS. Total wonder and joy!

Wow, so many great moments from our Christmas trip.

So I am going to pick the top 3, one per kiddo:

1) has to be Christmas Eve at Epcot. DS (6) turns to me at the end of the Candlelight Processional (narrated by Gary Sinese) with the biggest, soft, brown eyes that you ever saw, and says "Oh, Mommy, now I understand why there is a star on the Christmas tree. It's there to lead us to Jesus, just like it did the Kings!" You never know what will make a story finally click. He's heard the Christmas story every Christmas Eve, and this one was sooo special. Thanks Epcot! ps:this post is a spoiler because I haven't posted it yet in m trip report. so shhhhhh.

2) The look on my husband's eyes when he first saw my DD (little Belle in my siggie picture) in the lobby of the GF after her appointment w/ Mommy at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. I thought we were both going to turn into puddles.

3) This picture:

Taken in the Poly lounge while sipping a Lapu Lapu, watching my kids sitting together on the first night of our Christmas Adventure. The fireworks started right after and we watched from the window of the lounge until they called us to our Cousin's table at Ohana.

When we went in 5/07, we got a great upgrade at the Wilderness Lodge and could see an unobstructed Wishes every night and then look down to see the electric boat parade from our balcony. Each night my DS8, DD5, DH and I would crowd together and watch "Our special show!"

My most magical moment came on a trip three years ago. My daughter (4 at the time) broke her elbow the weekend before we were to leave. Our doctor encouraged us to go anyway since she was too short to ride any of the thrill rides. He said she'd be ok on other rides. We were amazed at the interaction of all the characters--she has many autographs with "Get Well" and "Feel better soon" along with the names. But the "Best" and most magical moment occured when Cinderella stooped down showing such care with my daughters arm and actually kissed it to "make it better". Wow! Talk about tears in my eyes! It even made my son (8 at the time) get teary eyed!

As a child I had always wanted to eat in Cinderella's Castle, but that wasn't the kind of thing my family did.

When my husband and I first went there together we did, and we had a seat by the window at night. From the beginning I was teary eyed with the m'lords and m'ladys and princess talk. Then the waiter gave us the special anniversery champaigne flutes (even though it wasn't).

We didn't even think about the fact that we might be inside for the fireworks. But when they dimmed the lights and everyone gathered around the windows, thats when I felt like the true princess. I cried my eyes out. I am right now thinking about it.

the most magical moment would have to be getting picked for the family of the day at MGM and getting the chance to open the park. it was a great day. the certificate hangs at front of the hallway so we can see it everytime we head down the hall.
