Thought it might be interesting to hear what people like least about each park.

Here's my list:

MK - getting from the parking lot to the park. Frustrating waste of precious time!

EPCOT - Living Seas. Such a disappointing exhibit. Also, the lack of good food in FW.

MGM - the big socerer's hat in front of Mann's Chinese Theather. Hat is cool but it ruins the landscape placed where it is.

AK - No shortcuts between the different areas so you constantly need to walk back to the Tree to get someplace.

:)

... since you asked...

Magic Kingdom: Losing Alien Encounter. I know, I know, it scared kids. Hey, there were warnings, folks! Sorry, but I'm kinda bitter about this one... it was nice to have a thrill-ridey kinda thing in the MK. Not EVERYTHING has to be geared toward the kid krowd.

EPCOT: Leave A Legacy. Sorry, but it looks like a graveyard, and that's not the image I want upon entering the park!

Animal Kingdom: Nothing really stands out in a negative light for me here. I wasn't crazy about the game-playing area over by Chester & Hester's last time I was there, but I've heard things have vastly improved since my last visit (two years ago).

MGM: The loss of Osborne Lights. It's only for this year (knock wood), but it's always a big highlight of my Christmas In The World trip.

Hmmm.. I hesitate to say mine....because as many say...another mans trash is another treasure, so please keep in mind I am not slamming., just sharing my least favs!

MK - The Swiss Family Treehouse....just too much trapsing about to look down at the parks..lol

MGM - Gerties Dinosaur..it need revamping

AKA - the bees that you encounter year round on the way to the Safari.

Epcot - The Living in the Land Ride......just needs a tad more excitment!

MK: It used to be Alien Encounter. Now it is probably the Tea Cups...nothing extraordinary or special about it. Dishonorable Mention: the former 20,000 Leagues Lagoon...a constant reminder of a shortsighted decision that is in demand of correction! (don't get me started.... )

EPCOT: Used to be Horizons. Now, I'd have to say France.

MGM: The Backstage Tour....ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

AK: It's A Bug's Life because it scared the heck out of my little girl...took me a while to calm her down.

It's hard to say because there aren't many...
MK: There's no specific parking lot for the MK. You have to go to one of the MK resorts or the TTC... kind of a pain.
Epcot: The Living Seas, just kind of boring.
MGM: Its small size... you can explore the whole park in about a day.
AK: Almost the whole thing, I just don't like the park itself. Excluding Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, and that nature-walk type thing (I can't remember the name of it, but it's wear you get a map and walk through the "rainforest" to see the animals and everything).

My first thought was...rude guests!

But I agree about the MK parking lot situation, we avoid driving there at all costs....saving that wonderful tram ride for our last day.

AK, I believe will soon have a shortcut from Dinoland to Asia....and there is a path from Africa to Asia around the back of the tree. My major gripe there is Dino-Rama.

MGM- the entire park layout is horrible...took me years before I could get around without a map! And I agree that the hat is poorly placed. I think a smaller one right in the front of the park would have been better...take out that silly souvenir stand!

Epcot- hmmm...I love Epcot. I guess it could use more shade, though. And taking the sea cabs out of the living seas was a mistake. WS could also use a few more rides...we love Mexico and Norway!

And all over WDW...standing movie theaters! Like I'm not tired enough! And then the little ones want to be carried so they can see.....argh! I mean, I like CircleVision except for the standing thing!

MK: It was Alien Encounter so I'm not sure what it is now. Probably that the food there isn't very good for the most part.

EPCOT: Universe of Energy- too long, not funny, and dull

MGM: Sounds Dangerous- why in the world would I want to be sitting in a dark room with Drew Carry whispering in my ear? :earseek:

AK: Hmm.. not sure. Probably the carnival games at Dino-Rama. They make the whole area just seem too claustrophobic.

MK - Now that Alien Encounter is gone, my least favorite is the Tiki Bird Room. The whole show kind of annoys me.

Epcot - The attraction with Ellen de Generes (I'm drawing a blank on what it's called) because I don't care for her at all.

MGM - confusing layout. I can easily find my way around in every other park but that one for some reason.

AK - The bird show.

Ok here goes no slamming please just my 2 cents on a question asked...

MK- Goofys Barnstormer for reasons all my own. I know others love it but my little guy flipped out on it and tried to get off it while it was going! I'm sure that its a great ride for others.

Epcot- Most (not all) of the "eats" dont appeal to my families taste.

MGM- Backstage tour

AK- The whole "carnival" like theming that has been added to a beautiful park that seemed so dedicated to animals and preservation. I feel like I'm entering a town carnival. I so enjoyed just walking around admiring the details and the feel of AK but then you hit that area and your taken out of the magic of the park.

1. MK - the raceway. It's loud and stinky.

2. AK - I understand the DinoLand concept and it doesn't really bother me. I wish the walking paths thru the animals had more room. The bird area can be especially "close."

3. MGM - I think the whole New York area is a waste. I

am also LOL about people getting lost in MGM - I thought I was the only one! I am certain the park maps are WRONG!

4. Epcot - I guess Living Seas. A Nemo theme would be good here, don't you think. I love the music outside though.

LOL Jiggerj! Some memories are not to be forgotten!

MK-My least favorite is gone, Alien Encounter! Ok, so Pooh comes in second (only because it replaced Mr. Toad, which I LOVED) as well as the lack of good food options. We don't like character meals, and Cindy's and Tony's are SO high priced when I can't eat enough there (due to medical condition) so we're stuck w/Plaza, which ONLY has sandwiches and ice cream!

Epcot-The graveyard entrance and Living seas.

MGM-The hat. My only complaint there. I hate the hat with a passion.

AK-mainly that it's hard to walk. The paths around the tree are awfully narrow...and the only thing I enjoy in Camp Minnie Mickey is FOTLK...

MK: Used to be COP being closed except during peak times. A Disney classic that deserves to LIVE! Thank God for the closing of Alien Encounter! Long Live COP! As goes Alien Encounter, so goes Eisner!

MGM: I agree...the layout of the park is horrible. I get lost every time!

Epcot: The fact that it is two parks crushed together. Also Food Rocks.

AK: Carnival atmosphere in Dinoland.

OMG! That cracked me up!

Tarzan Rocks at AK. The performers are talented but I'm not a fan of the show itself. I won't sit through it again. (Is it still there?)

i evidently march to a different drummer cause:

mk: that ae is gone! really enjoyed it as something different but still imaginative
epcot: the basically boring wonders of life ( not body wars but the rest is like the local health museum) love living seas
mgm ; indy seen once is ok twice BORING
ak: going for first time this time so I will probably love it since so many do not!

Good thread! Okay here goes:

MK-Space Mountain, Alien Encounter (now gone), Snow White's Ride, please don't flame me, but I don't like Haunted Mansion anymore! :duck:

EPCOT-Test Track :duck: , Body Wars, Honey I Shrunk the Audience

MGM-ToT (I just have NO desire to be dropped 13 stories not once, not twice, but THREE times!! :faint: )

AK-Tarzan Rocks (I've seen it once, I'm done with it) and Dinosaur (that's a one time thing too)

MK - The Raceway

Epcot - The Entrance area

MGM - Sounds Dangerous

AK - Tarzan Rocks
