Yes, because its a requirement by the Governments of the countries that DCL visits. The Covid testing is not a requirement of DCL, they are just complying with requirements of the international Governments.

I would just accept its the way its going to be for the foreseeable future.

Yes they will go away in time, when who knows. It is all temporary and requirements are still easing everywhere.

Not to stay permanently, no. But here for the rest of the year, likely. The drawback in terms of permanency is that it is now easy for DCL to require the testing as they don't have to administer it, so it's not so problematic to them to keep the requirement. I see it disappearing some time in 2023, with vaccination and symptoms declaration as the only specific Covid requirements left at that point.
