What is your favourite film and why

Blade Runner... stunningly excellent visuals and an incredible vision of a future dystopia, with both entertaining and thought-provocative elements.

Lawrence of Arabia - Stunning visual movie. Tells a story of how the passion of one man can have far reaching impact. The change in this man from english to arab is heart rending, but for all his flaws he still comes out of it. It is a tale of morality that can be observed in each of our lives...

Antwone Fisher... There is something that appeals to me about his survival spirit and the coming to grips with his past. Plus, I think Denzel Washington is a great actor and does a fantastic job in this move.

Pride and Prejudice. I love the romance of it and I'm a sucker for that time period.

Wuthering Heights with Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche. I really relate to that film. I love the acting, its so heartbreaking. The scene where Heathcliff breaks the glass door and goes into the room where Catherine is laid to rest just kills me everytime!!!

Saving Private Ryan, love WW2 movies and this one is the best.

Twilight.

No, just joking, I haven't even seen it.

Mine is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I thought it was a wonderful interpretation of the book series and the filming is spectacular.

I could never say just one film is my favorite but ones at the top would include:

Shawshank Redemption
It's a Wonderful Life
Disney - Mary Poppins
Old School
Star Wars - big part of my life growing up
Great Escape
Cool Hand Luke

84 Charing Cross Road

I just love the story, and Anne Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins are absolutly the tops in performance. They never interact but you totally buy thier "love" story. I always recomend the books they're based on.

Requiem for a Dream.

I think this movie should be required viewing in middle school. Parents would freak out but I don't know how anyone would consider doing drugs after seeing this film.
