What is your favourite breakfast? as well as telling us which one you like the best, tell us why you like it as well:)

I voted for Cape May at the Beach Club. We visited for the first time last year and really enjoyed our breakfast here. Lovely food and great interaction from the character's. We didn't feel rushed at all :)

went for disney princesses at epcot, as characters were fantastic, that many princessess in one hit was amazing, dd's 5 and 7 loved it, although food was very poor, kids too excited to eat anyway. 1900 PF was a touch of class as far as the surroundings and food, masses of fresh fruit, mickey waffles etc although the characters didnt have the same wow factor as the princesses.princess:

'Ohana for me! I love the spread of unlimited food they bring to your table without the need for getting up (yes I'm that[/I lazy!) plus the characters seem to spend so much time at each table and DS and DD love the little dance!

:wave2:

I voted for Chef Mickeys as that's the only one I've done of those listed.

Why did I like it?

Great interaction with the characters I even like the naff napkin waving etc,
Excellent choice of food,
Loved the location - so convenient from MK but yet gets you away from the bustle for a bit

Big thumbs up from me and my family

Hi there

Another vote for Chef Mickeys here. The food is brilliant and the interaction with the characters is really good along with the 'Celebrate With Mickey Mouse' song where Goofy dances/runs around the room.

Lots of Fun!!

In our limited experience, I'd have to say 1900 PF. The whole experience was magical from start to finish.

We chose 1900PF because I AM the No 1 Pooh fan, DD is No 1 Eeyore fan and I really hoped they'd both be there. Crystal Palace was closed otherwide that would have been our first choice.

We were staying at the Poly, so just hopped on the monorail over to GF then had a nosey around while we were waiting for our table:D

The setting was marvellous, the food superb for buffet style and our server was great. The characters were what made it for us - in particular my DD. Eeyore surpassed 'himself' - he spent so much time with DD, even when he was walking past us to get to other tables he would make the time to wave, or hug. My DD has a furry Eeyore backpack from a few years ago's trip to WDW. When Eeyore saw this, he made her stand up and he pretended to fit himself on her back to be her 'real' Eeyore backpack.

Now, my DD is a very "growed up" 11 year-old and I wasn't too sure how she would feel about a character breakfast. She was so excited she practically hovered once she'd seen Eeyore.

The Mad Hatter with his terrible fake English accent was a bit of a disappointment, but Winnie, Minnie and Mary Poppins were the business. Again, Mary Poppins spent ages talking with Katie as we went out of the restaurant.

I was so delighted at the interaction Eeyore had made - and the time spent - with my daughter, that I wasn't too bothered about only getting one hug from THE main man, Pooh. I'm soft enough that I actually had tears in my eyes just watching Katie's face everytime she saw Eeyore waving at her.

I personally thanked the restaurant manager for making one little girl's holiday:earsgirl:

Hi Annie

What a magical experience for Katie. We had a similar interaction with Pluto at the Hollywood and Vine and it is a very special moment to see your children with the characters (after all, to them they are "real" - mind you I also forget sometimes too LOL)

Thanks for the great review. Would you recommend this one above the Crystal Palace?

I also find it quite interesting that noone (yet!) has voted for CRT which is the hottest ticket at WDW.

It's a very tough question to answer as I have three "favourites" and it depends on the situation as to which wins out.

As I'm assuming, for the purposes of the poll, I'm working on a "If you had to choose one brekkie to take a family to on their one and only visit which would you choose" I voted for Crystal Palace as it has excellent food, great charater interaction and the added bonus of being in the MK.

It's really only the "in the park" factor that slides it above my other two which are 1900 and Cape May. The location of 1900 ( the GF) is almost a match for being in one of the parks as IMHO it's a stunning hotel and great fun to stroll around. Cape May benefits from being in my favourite Disney Hotel (the Y+B clubs) and , generally, benefits from being a little more relaxed than any of the others and would be my choice if it were an adults only/couples affair.

You just made me smile! You often give very good and considered advice which is why when i saw that your three favourite breakfasts were the three that I have booked I was very happy!

We have also booked Chef Mickeys for dinner which seems to be highly recommended!

Cheers

Bump,

Found this thread way down in the listings and would be interested on peoples opinions at the moment.

1900 Park Fare. I have done several of the others including Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace. Although the food was good at the others at Park Fare it was truly amazing. Added to that the wonderful opulent setting of the hotel itself and the great character interaction, I am tempted to go no where else in future! lol

Have not been yet, so could not vote ;)
For those trip planning this is an excellent thread to see where the favourites are :)

i chose CRT :cheer2: :cheer2: mainly because its the only breakfast ive done but also because i will NEVER forget the look on my dd's face when cinderella came over and chatted to her :) that moment will stay with me forever and i still get choked up when i tell people about it
great thread btw

We have been to Cape May, Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fare, our favorite one is Cape May, there is more of a laid back atmosphere there and the character interaction is good. It also has Minnie Mouse for DD and fresh strawberries for DS
