What is your favourite album?

Its almost impossible for me to pick just one...

I'm quite heavily into green day at the moment, so either dookie, american idiot, 21st century breakdown or bullet in a bible seem to be my most common played at the moment.

The bullet in the bible live album is great. Me and 2 friends were at milton keynes for the sunday, it was amazing

Sclub 7's first album, brings back a lot of good memories for me when I was growing up and I still listen to it now.

*Hangs head in embarrasment* :lmao:

:rotfl:

I still listen to S Club 7 (and the rest... *cough* Steps *cough*). Like you said, it reminds me of my younger days!

No Doubt....Great shout, had it on all the way back from Newcastle to Blackpool today!!! High five on that one!!

:thumbsup2 It's a great album. I wish they would hurry up with their new one!

but my current fave is The End ~ Black Eyed Peas
Same here, Matt bought me it for Xmas. Its the only CD I have had in my van since then, no idea how many times I have listened to it but its an amazing CD.

My music likes range from Abba to Mozart to ZZ Top :rolleyes1

Same here, from Classical to Rock, very broad taste in music.

I will listen to anything from Queen or Meatloaf, every single song they have done.
Enjoy most work by Madness, Prince, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, Kaiser Cheifs, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Abba, Beatles plus lots more.

My only regret in life is not seeing Freddie Mercury/Queen live, seen Meatloaf numerous times and even though he is now in his 60's he knows how to entertain a crowd.

Now the original question, if I had to choose one, although a very difficult choice I think I would go for Bill Withers Greatest hits. Just listened to the samples on Amazon, I will be digging it out again this evening http://www.amazon.co.uk/Greatest-Hi...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1278062901&sr=8-1

I've been to see them a couple of times over the past year - even though bullet in a bible is missing a lot the 21st century breakdown songs they open their concerts with, i think it puts across the energy of their concerts very well :thumbsup2

I preferred the pre American Idiot era shows, I miss those days.

Like many others here, I have very broad tastes in music but I think my favourite album ever is probably All About Eve (by All About Eve) - a fantastic and under-rated group and I love their music. In fact, a lot of my favourite albums are probably by lesser known/less popular artists.

I too have very broad tastes in music. I often only like one or two songs by a band so never buy albums. The one album I do love and listen to over and over is the soundtrack to the first Twilight film.

I prefer the scores for the twilight saga by Carter Burwell and Alexandre Desplat than the actual songs :confused3

I want to get the scores as well but haven't yet. I love movie scores. I heard the Philharmonic play once and it was all movie scores.

Fightstar - Grand Unification

Linkin Park - Hybrid theory

Prodigy - Always Outnumered, Never Outgunned

Black Eyed Peas - The E.N.D

The Beastie Boys - To The 5 Boroughs

Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon
Led Zeppelin- Untitled 4th Album
The Who - Who's Next

That's easy, U2's 'The Joshua Tree'.
First CD I had to purchase before I walked out of store with new CD player!
After all the music that they've produced, it was two tracks from this album that finished off their live concert last October!

Joshua Tree is definitely their best out of all their albums, Zooropa and Pop I thought were weird and not really 'U2' but the albums after that were good but I really like the Singles album as it has all of their hits on it and is great for rocking along to in the car!

My Chemical Romance- The Black Parade
Green Day- Warning
Death Cab For Cutie-Transatlanticism

Sorry could'nt just name one. saw GD again a couple of weeks ago at Wembley (Golden Circle) they were .......AMAZING:love:
