what is your favorite resort and why?

Ill give you mine....I love Pop Century...i love the theming and how they have 3 pools so they dont get overcrowded..i also love the variety of the food court and how the gift shop is connected to the food court its convienient for me and easy if ur with a group and ur done eating u can just go and look in the food court but if with little children it can be a nightmare.

I think this is more appropriate for the resorts thread...

But I'm also a lover of Pop! I love how close everything is, how fun it feels and the layout of the whole resort.

I'll play! My favorite resort is the Grand Floridian. DH and I were married there almost 4 years ago and I've loved it ever since. I love how airy and open it feels when you're walking the grounds and of course, the location!! Even just sitting in the lobby and listening to the music feels so relaxing to me.

I just wish we could budget for it every trip, but most of the time we end up in the All Stars (which I also love - as long as there are no tour groups there at the same time!)

Definitely Beach Club. I always loved Poly, but now that the kids are older, we spend most of our time in Epcot and end every night there in WS. Being able to walk to Epcot and DHS is a huge perk for us. Plus, the boardwalk area has so much to offer after the parks close. The rooms at Beach Club are very nice and have a junior day bed so the two teenagers don't have to share a bed, which is a huge asset. QS food isn't great, but we don't care about that. We just grab something quick for breakfast on the go anyway, and never go back to eat any other meals at the resort, so that's not a big deal for us. The pool is fantastic - that sand bottom at the end of the day is wonderful for tired feet!

My favorite resort is Wilderness Lodge. My family and I are very casual, but like being able to have the amenities of a deluxe resort. I also love the food court, the relatively large gift shop, the walking/jogging trails, and being able to take the boat the Magic Kingdom.
I must admit though, I have stayed at Caribbean Beach and All Star Sports, and love those ones too.

All time favorite....even after 44 trips and most stays in all the deluxes....Wilderness Lodge...over 10 stays there....

We love the layout of the resort and location...being on the lakes seems to make the resort fresher, cooler and quaint....plus the boat to the MK is a great way to travel....it's also very compact and all under one roof...has everything you could want, bike barn, boat rental, EWP, boat to FW and CR and in a perfect location for visiting 3 deluxe resorts for dining and shopping...

Bottom line, best on location...a deluxe with the cheapest room rate, and close to the MK.....

We love POR. There is something very homey about it. We are staying there again this trip. Can't wait.

I've only been to 1 other resort CBR but I can tell you that Poly is my favorite ... I'm drooling to stay there.
